New Wizards of Waverly Place Episode, "Doll House", Airs November 20th

I am loving the sound of this new Wizards of Waverly Place episode, entitled “Doll House”! And the pictures of Selena Gomez as a doll are so cute. Another reason I am very excited about this episode, is because the adorable Yara Shahidi, from “Imagine That” with Eddie Murphy, is guest staring!

I had the chance to speak with Yara back in June and she is one of the sweetest and well spoken young girls you will ever meet. Check out Disney Society’s exclusive interview with Yara here.

In "Doll House", after Harper (Jennifer Stone) learns her family is moving away, the Russos offer to let Harper live with them. While Alex (Selena Gomez)and Harper clean out the basement to make room for Harper’s stuff, Alex shrinks herself down to fit in her old doll house, but Jerry and Theresa give the doll house away to a little girl named Olive with Alex still in it, in "Wizards of Waverly Place," premiering FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Wizards of Waverly Place “Night at the Lazerama” Airs November 6th

So far, at the beginning of November, we have a new episode of Sonny with a Chance (info here), Hannah Montana (info here)and now Wizards of Waverly Place. “Night at the Lazerama” airs on November 6th on Disney Channel. Check out these stills. “Good Luck Charlie’s” Bridgit Mendler is back!

In "Night at the Lazerama", Justin is summoned to track down a scary mummy as part of his monster hunting duties. He and Juliet set off to the museum to track the monster, but things take a turn for the worse when Justin and Juliet become trapped in the museum. Meanwhile, Alex tries to separate Max from his conscience after he starts excelling in his wizard studies, in "Wizards of Waverly Place," premiering FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Dan Benson from “Wizards of Waverly Place” Vancouver Signing

Dan Benson, who plays Zeke in Wizards of Waverly Place, was at a signing in Vancouver, Canada yesterday. My friend Arieanna managed to snag a picture of him as he posed with a fan.

Not only has Dan played Zeke in Wizards episodes such as “Wizard for a Day” and “Wizards & Vampires vs Zombies”, but he has been in several other shows you will recognize. He also had roles in American Dream, Phil of the Future and Zoey 101.

Selena Gomez Chats Wizards on the Today Show

Selena Gomez was on The Today Show today (October 2) to promote her Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, as well as her new album “Kiss and Tell” with her band, Selena Gomez and The Scene.

They opened up the interview by showing a clip of Selena from Wizards. When asked if it was weird watching herself and if she watches she said, “Yeah” and also said that she doesn’t watch, but her family does!

She went on to talk about how supportive her mom is and how not only is she her mom, but her best friend. Selena always gives great interviews!

Wand Picked Wizards Week Starts Monday

On Monday, August 24th, the Disney Channel is featuring “Wand Picked Wizards Week”. This special Wizards of Waverly Place week is all leading up to the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie “Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie”, which airs Friday, August 28th!

Wizards of Waverly Place: “Wizards & Vampires vs Zombies”

Tonight is the final episode in the four-part Wizards of Waverly Place series: “Wizards & Vampires vs Zombies”. In this episode Justin convinces Juliet that their prom date will be the most memorable ever. Meanwhile Alex opts to plan a zombie themed anti-prom, but is unprepared for the unexpected real zombies that arrive for the ultimate prom dance off.

Did you watch the premiere of Selena Gomez’s “Magic” music video on the Disney Channel last night? I did! The music video featured scenes from the upcoming "Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie," which premieres Friday, August 28 on Disney Channel.

The"Wizards of Waverly Place" soundtrack releases worldwide Tuesday, August 4 and includes musical selections inspired by "Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie" and the Emmy-nominated series "Wizards of Waverly Place," including four songs performed by Gomez.

Selena’s New Music Video “Magic” Premieres Today!

The Disney Channel is premiering Selena Gomez’s new music video “Magic” today, Friday, July 24th, at 8:59 p.m. ET/PT. Radio Disney will premiere the song, which is featured on the soon to be released "Wizards of Waverly Place" soundtrack, earlier that day (3:00 p.m. PT/ 6:00p.m. ET).

The music video features scenes from the upcoming "Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie," which premieres Friday, August 28 on Disney Channel.

The"Wizards of Waverly Place" soundtrack releases worldwide Tuesday, August 4 and includes musical selections inspired by "Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie" and the Emmy-nominated series "Wizards of Waverly Place," including four songs performed by Gomez.

The "Magic" music video will premiere after the first episode in the "Wizards vs. Vampires" four-episode programming event which follows the Russo family and their encounters with the Van Heusens, a family of vampires who own a competing sandwich shop. Beginning FRIDAY, JULY 24 (8:00- 8:45 p.m. ET/PT), new episodes will air for three consecutive Friday’s thereafter.

Wizards Cast Celebrates Emmy Nomination

It was announced yesterday that “Wizards of Waverly Place” was nominated for an Emmy. David Henrie tweeted this picture of the cast with their Congratulations cake. David tweeted, “twas gooooood. thanks every1”.

Selena Gomez and Jake T Austin were also excited about the nominations and headed to twitter to express their excitement. Selena Gomez tweeted, “Wizards of Waverly Place got nominated for an Emmy!!!!!!!!! What an honor, I’m speechless. I am so blessed!”. Jake tweeted, “hey idk if u already know, but we got nominated for an emmy… yea im the first to tell u”.

We here at Disney Society are very excited about the nomination! “Wizards of Waverly Place” is up against “Hannah Montana” and “iCarly”. Who do you think will win?

On August 7th, you can see a brand new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place”. Here are some stills from “Wizards vs Vampires: Dream Date”.

In "Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream Date", after Dean moves away, Alex (Selena Gomez) continues to date him by using magic to enter his dreams. When he pays her a surprise visit and the real date isn’t as great as she had dreamt, she searches for a way to break up with him. Meanwhile Justin (David Henrie) tells his vampire girlfriend Juliet that he is not allowed to go on her family camping trip.
