I hope you are enjoying the Prince Caspian clips I am posting today in celebration of the ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’ DVD release. You can read my short review of the movie, as well as the clip ‘Meeting the Mouse’.

Here are two more clips entitled ‘Magical Forest’ and ‘Fighting the River’. If you could pick out one seen from the movie that is your favorite, what would you pick? Anything with the rats pretty much had me laughing, but I also liked the little romance that was going on between Prince Caspian and Susan. When he came and saved her in the forest…I just thought that was so sweet. Okay, okay, I’ll stop now.

Check out the clips below.

‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’ on DVD & Blu-ray December 2nd

December 2, 2008 by Julie Bonner

TCONarniaPrinceCaspian3DiscDVDart ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’ is available on DVD and Blu-ray today, December 2nd. I didn’t see this movie in theaters and I totally regret it! After watching the DVD and loving every second of the movie, I was so wishing I would have gone to see it.

365_29283.jpg Prince Caspian is just a down right good movie. This second one is more intense than the first. It has more action and keeps you guessing until the end about what exactly is going to happen. Oh, and Ben Barnes who plays Prince Caspian is adorable. I just thought I would throw that out there. ;-)

I had family here for Thanksgiving and we all watched the movie together. There wasn’t one person who didn’t like it. After we were done with it, I passed it on to another family member who also loved it. I received the 3-disc DVD, which includes some great bonus features.

In celebration of the DVD release today, I will post clips and pictures throughout the day from ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’. Here’s a description of the movie, as well as the first video clip of the day. Enjoy!

“The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” Cast in Melbourne, Australia

The cast and crew from “The Chronicles of Narnia:Prince Caspian” were in Melbourne, Australia for a press event Tuesday evening. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I am hearing mixed reviews. It seems either people say it’s awesome and much better than the first one, or it didn’t live up to their expectations.

Did any of you see it and if so, what did you think? It brought in $55 million on its opening weekend.

Two more pictures of Ben Barnes and William Moseley below the cut.

Ben Barnes on Jimmy Kimmel

May 15, 2008 by Julie Bonner

Ben Barnes is continuing his talk show touring to promote this Friday’s theatrical release of “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”. Last night he visited Jimmy Kimmel and he was just as cute and fun as he was on Jay Leno.

I have a feeling we will be seeing more of this guy. I would love to see him in a romantic comedy!

Ben Barnes, From The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian, on Jay Leno

May 14, 2008 by Julie Bonner

Ben Barnes, who plays Prince Caspian in the new Chronicles of Narnia movie, was on Jay Leno last night. Let me just say, he is a total cutie!! I could listen to him talk all day long. There is just something about that British accent.

He mentioned that this was the first time he had ever walked out onto anything with a live band and he liked it. They also talk about how he got started in Hollywood and how he got the part of a life guard being attacked by a shark. Unfortunately the film was never made. Poor Ben!

Ben said that he came to Los Angeles abut 2 weeks ago and he saw the giant 10 story billboard of “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” and he said that it’s only human to try to take a picture of yourself in front of one of your first billboards. He actually brought the picture with him to show Jay Leno and it was pretty funny. Hey, if MY face and MY movie was on a billboard, I would have been snapping pictures like crazy!

Jay asked Ben how he got the part in The Chronicles of Narnia and he said that he was doing a play and one of the casting directors came to see it and asked if he would like to audition for the part. Supposedly the directors had been looking for just the right person to play Prince Caspian for over a year. Ben mentioned he came into the process about 2 weeks before they needed to make the decision, so he said they were desperate at that point. Ah, Ben, you’re just being modest. You were perfect for the role and they knew it!!

I love the part in the interview where Jay asked him if he had ever ridden horses before and he said, “I might have suggested that I had…” He said he only stretched the truth a little. He HAD written a horse at age 6 on a Shetland pony, lol!

What a great interview and Ben Barnes is one delightful and handsome young man! Be sure to go see “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” on May 16th in theaters everywhere!!
