Disney has ordered season 3 of the hit series “Phineas and Ferb” for the Disney Channel and Disney XD. In making the announcement president Gary Marsh said, “’Phineas and Ferb’ is the simplest of ideas – two brothers determined to do something unique, something outrageous every single day of their 104 days of summer vacation — and Dan and Swampy have executed it with brilliant comedic flair.”

In September, Walt Disney Records will debut the “Phineas and Ferb” soundtrack which features 26 original songs from the series.

In the series, produced in traditional 2D animation, Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother, Ferb Fletcher, set out to conquer boredom and make every day of their 104-day summer vacation count, even if it means building a giant marine aquarium, creating their own video games or rebuilding an alien aircraft. Their older sister, Candace, makes it her mission to get the boys in trouble but every time without fail, the proof she needs mysteriously disappears by the time she can get Mom to come and see her brothers’ antics. Meanwhile, the family’s pet, Perry the Platypus, may seem like any other domesticated house pet but he has a secret life as suave Agent P, deftly battling the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the Tri-State area.

“Phineas and Ferb” has been a big hit among Disney Channel fans and it’s personally one of my favorite shows!

Ashley Tisdale who does the voice of the hilarious Candace on “Phineas and Ferb” tweeted that she was recording today.

She said, “Recording phineas and ferb then off for the day!”

Before recording, Ashley was spotted at the Tea Leaf in Studio City, California and then she headed off to the studios. Ashley spend Memorial Day shopping with her mom and then having a bar-b-que. She also spent some quality time with her new man Scott Speer.

If you’re a fan of “Phineas and Ferb”, then most likely you know that Alyson Stoner is the voice of the adorable Isabella. She’s the one who always says “What cha doin’?” and she has a thing for Phineas.

Alyson posted a new video where she takes us behind the scenes of one of her recording sessions.

It’s so much fun to see Alyson in action and doing the voice of Isabella. It’s crazy how all of the characters can record separately and then the producers do their magic and turn it into a show. Alyson does a great job!

On February 13th, Disney will launch “Disney XD”, a boy-focused, girl inclusive entertainment brand. It will premiere with Disney’s hit comedy series "Phineas and Ferb," and is highlighted by the debut of "Aaron Stone".

“Aaron Stone” is an original action-adventure series about a champion video game player who, in a popular game called Hero Rising, uses a crime-fighting avatar named Aaron Stone – at least until the game’s billionaire creator asks him to become the real-life Aaron Stone.

Disney XD will have themes of adventure, accomplishment, gaming, music and sports (developed with ESPN).

I just got through reviewing Wizards of Waverly Place - Wizard School which comes out on DVD tomorrow, but that’s not the only DVD that drops tomorrow! Tomorrow is a big day for Disney Channel lovers when it comes to DVDs.

Phineas and Ferb: The Fast and the Phineas DVD also hits stores on July 29th and it has some bonus features that I think you just might like.

I sat down with the fam the other day and we popped this DVD in and absolutely loved it! Phineas and Ferb is literally a show for all ages. On this DVD you get 5 hilarious episodes. Here’s a clip entitled “Evil Plan” from one of the episodes.

As far as the bonus features go, I thought it wad very cool to get to see how Phineas and Ferb was first created. I won’t give it away, you just have to watch the DVD. Also included, are some supercool games that I can guarantee you, you won’t want to play just once. I love it when a DVD comes with a game. It just gives it a little something extra and another reason to pop the DVD back in the player! You can see the intro for the game below the cut.

Alyson Stoner is one of my all-time favorite Disney Channel Stars. We don’t seem to hear a lot about her and that’s probably because she’s not causing any controversy, but instead, she’s busy working! I thought it would be fun to see what Alyson Stoner is up to these days.

• She recently attended the 2008 Disney Channel Games. The picture above is of Alyson at the DC Games arrivals. She is looking gorgeous in that green dress!
• Have you heard of a little movie called “Camp Rock“? LOL. Alyson plays Caitlyn and from the clips I have seen, we get to see Alyson dance and sing. That girl has got some moves and she always has!
• Phineas and Ferb is still a Disney Channel favorite and Alyson does the voice of Isabella. I love this show! It truly is hysterical.
• Alyson has a DVD coming out on July 29, 2008 called “Alice Upside Down“. She plays Alice McKinley and you can read more about that movie here.
• Her latest project is “The Alyson Stoner Project“. The release date for that is July1st, so it’s right around the corner. To get a taste of what this is all about, watch the video below. We get to see some behind-the-scenes shots and a clip of an interview.

Alyson is definitely one busy girl! I can’t wait to see what else she has planned in the future. You can also watch a dance instructional by Alyson below the cut. She recently taught a master class in San Diego and she’s teaching us the first steps of the dance. Watch it and try it below!
