Scifiwire has a great article about how Disney is revamping the story of “Rapunzel”. Disney is right in the middle of writing the story for the new film, which will be a holiday 2010 release. The only thing we really knew so far about this film was that Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi were the lead voices. But thanks to the D23 Expo, we now know a lot more!

Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Studios have released a new trailer for the upcoming 2009 movie "UP". The sneak peek displays movies the studios have made together, which include "Toy Story", "The Incredibles" and most recently "Wall-E".
Carl, a rather grumpy old man, is about to go on an amazing journey without ever leaving his home. Walt Disney Pictures presents "Bedtime Stories" due in theaters on Christmas Day (December 25, 2008).  From director Adam Shankman ("Hairspray", "The Wedding Planner") this movie features a star cast, including Adam Sandler, Keri Russell, Guy Pearce, Courteney Cox and Russell Brand. Cory in the House cutie Jason Dolley, is in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Hatching Pete“. We have to wait awhile to see this movie. Its release date is March 7, 2009.
“Hatching Pete” includes not only Jason Dolley, but also Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana) and Brian Stepanek (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody). The movie was filmed in Utah at Hillcrest High School.

It was just announced that Orlando Bloom will star in the lead role in the upcoming Disney Movie “Prince of Persia:Sands of Time“. Allegedly, he beat out Zac Efron for the role. I like Zac, but I think Orlando will be perfect for this role.
The deal is reportedly worth around 40 million and will start production in July. The great Jerry Bruckheimer is the director.

Jason Dolley and Mitchel Musso have teamed up for a new Disney movie called “Hatching Pete“. Jason is playing Pete, who’s a shy high school student, and Mitchel is playing his best friend.
They just recently started filming in Utah, close to the High School Musical 3 set! How cool is that?!
