A “source” told the Chicago Sun-Times “While Miley Cyrus  seems very smitten with Liam Hemsworth, her new beau and co-star in the upcoming ‘The Last Song,’ word has it her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, has concerns.”

Check this out! It’s the first trailer for Miley Cyrus’ upcoming Disney film “The Last Song”. The trailer was shown on her Wonder World Tour. I am really looking forward to the movie. “The Last Song” premieres in theaters on January 8, 2010.

“The Last Song” is a drama centered on a rebellious girl who is sent to a Southern beach town for the summer to stay with her father. Through their mutual love of music, the estranged duo learn to reconnect. Miley finished up shooting on the movie in mid August.

Today (August 18) is the day for the release of Hannah Montana: The Movie on DVD and Blu-ray. I loved seeing this movie in the theater and the DVD is fantastic! If you are a Hannah Montana fan, you will enjoy it. I promise! You will laugh, probably cry and will love the story line.

Were you a little shocked by how risqué Miley Cyrus’s 2009 Teen Choice Awards performance was? She sang her newest single “Party in the USA”, which included some short shorts, pole dancing and provocative dancing.

Us magazine senior editor Ian Drew said that Miley fans shouldn’t be surprised because this image has been coming for some time. He said, “She already has this risque image, so it really wasn’t much of a stretch. That’s how Britney took off. She was the good girl gone bad, and it looks to be working for Miley as well.”

(You can hear the full song here.) In this clip, you can see a part of the music video, which will premiere on FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 on Disney Channel.
