Miley Cyrus has been busy filming her new Walt Disney movie “The Last Song” in Savannah, GA. She’s also been super busy tweeting while there. Miley tweeted yesterday “ Hey everyone! Say hello to my new “bff” Liam!!!” and posted this picture. Sounds like her and co-star Liam Hemsworth are getting along great.

Miley was also photographed quite a bit yesterday (June 19) while filming some scenes on the beach. Check out this cute picture of the “Hannah Montana” star.

When will we get to see this movie in theaters? Not until January 8, 2010. Until then, we will just have to enjoy the pictures and any news that leaks out about the movie. I am looking forward to seeing Miley ins omething that’s completely not related to Hannah Montana.

More hugging, kissing and cute pictures from the set of the new Miley Cyrus movie “The Last Song”. Miley snuggles up to co-star Liam Hemsworth as they shoot more scenes for this very romantic looking movie.

Miley is also seen chilling out, running along the beach holding her script and sitting in her “The Last Song” chair taking a break. I think this movie is going to be beautiful. I am loving all of these beach scenes they are shooting.

The “Hannah Montana” star definitely seems to be enjoying herself in Savannah, GA. She’s getting in a lot of jet skiing time. She just posted this twitpic of her “jetskiing with my girls =]”.

The Last Song is “A drama centered on a rebellious young woman who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father.”

On Sunday, June 7th, Miley Cyrus attended the “A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival” held at the Wadsworth Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. She looked beautiful in a silver mini with black boots and silver chained necklaces.

The event was sponsored by Disney and benefited the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Miley performed at the event, singing hit songs such as “Fly on the Wall”.

Popstar! was at the event and interviewed Miley on the red carpet. They asked her if she could read anyone’s diary, who’s would it be. Who’s diary would she read?

Miley said, “If I could read anyone’s diary, it would have to be Johnny Depp’s diary because he probably talks about movies he’s gonna do and then I could sneak in there and beg him to let me be in one”.

Johnny Depp’s diary would no doubt be a good read!

Yesterday (June 5) Miley Cyrus performed at the 2009 Annual Shareholders meeting for Wal*Mart, which was held at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, AR. Now I know why she tweeted that she was going to Arkansas!

Other stars at the event included American Idol winner Kris Allen, Ben Stiller, Paulina Rubio and KISS band member Gene Simmons.

Miley was rockin’ some black leather pants and a British flag t-shirt. The “Hannah Montana” star will beheading off to Georgia any day now to start filming “The Last Song’.

She also supported her “Hannah Montana” co-star and best friend Mitchel Musso at The Grove in Los Angeles for his concert. She tweeted at the event, Stoked to rock out with @mitchelmusso. I got stuck at a business meeting but I will not miss my little punks concert!”

During an intermission at the concert, Radio Disney host Ernie D called Debby Ryan and Tiffany Thornton to the stage to do the Hoedown Throwdown. I wish I could have seen that!

At the end, Miley joined Mitchel on stage for his last song.

Miley Cyrus had an intense Pilates workout yesterday (May 27) at a Toluca Lake studio. She looked ready to workout in her black tee and white sweatpants.

In related Miley news, her gal pal Taylor Swift told Us Magazine that she is not in competition with Miley.

"I’ve always approached this from the place where I don’t compete with other girls," Swift told the Associated Press about Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. "I don’t compete with other people in the industry. I compete with myself."

She went on to say they wouldn’t be her friends if she was more cunning.

"If I looked at every other girl in the entertainment industry as competition, my life would be really lonely," she says. "I wouldn’t have some of the coolest friends that I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know over the last couple of years… It’s really awesome to get to hang out with those girls and to call them friends."

Miley will be heading to Savannah, Georgia soon to shoot her new movie “The Last Song”!

Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston took Miley’s little sis Noah to the YoguTree in Los Angeles, CA yesterday (May 26). The paparazzi followed them there of course and Miley is always so nice to them. I think she has had her fill for the week because she tweeted, “I am so over the stinkin paparazzi it’s not even funny!!!”

In an interview with Details Magazine, Justin said that he does not live with Miley.

"I live in an apartment in North Hollywood with two guys!" he says.

Justin also isn’t very fond of the paparazzi and they even bother him in his dreams.

"I have nightmares about paparazzi," he says. "I always have these, like, flashing things in my dreams. They’re so scary."

Justin also has something to say to those who are mean to him on Twitter.

"I was going to tweet about [the paparazzi] the other day, but I was afraid people might be, like, mean to me, which they often are," he says. "Please don’t be mean to me on Twitter. I’m just a guy. I’m just a guy with a dream.

Miley Cyrus has been out and about quite a bit lately. She’s been seen dining with her mom Tish, hanging out with her big sister Brandi and most recently driving around in her Prius looking for an open nail salon on Memorial day.

Yesterday (May 25) Miley was wearing a blue strapless maxi dress and gold sandals while hanging out with her grandma and little sister Noah. Miley drove around looking for a nail salon that was open and she finally found a place.

Miley Cyrus started off her Memorial Day weekend with some shopping with mom and manager Tish Cyrus. In Studio City on May 22, they hit up some shops, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Miley smiled for the paparazzi, like she always does and seemed to be enjoying her day.

Let me just say, I LOVE Miley’s black dress! Miley mentioned on twitter that she bought some cute skirts for Georgia. What does she mean? She means that she is headed to Georgia this summer to shoot her upcoming movie “The Last Song”. IMDB has June listed as the month production will start.

Miley will be seen portraying a rebellious teenager sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. Sounds like a pretty good movie! I can’t wait to see her in something different.
