When asked about Camp Rock 2, she said “Just finished Camp Rock 2, so that’ll be coming out sometime next year and I’m excited for everyone to see that because it’s going to be big and bright and beautiful”.

The sequel’s storyline follows Mitchie, Shane, Jason, Nate and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. However they soon learn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the lake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers — putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy.

And when Camp Star’s hotshot performer, Luke Williams, challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp really has the stronger musical talent, everyone prepares for the ultimate battle of the bands. Meanwhile, in a classic "Romeo and Juliet" twist, Nate falls for the daughter of the owner of the rival camp.

Meaghan Jette Martin sings “When You Wish Upon a Star” for the Disney classic Pinocchio. Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition arrives on DVD and Blu-ray March 10th.

Meaghan also announced the other day that her movie 10 Things I Hate About You is a go! Meaghan plays Bianca.

It’s called “10 Things I hate About You”. It’s “a single-camera comedy about the Stratford sisters — the strong-willed Kat (Lindsey Shaw) and social butterfly Bianca (Meaghan Jette Martin).”

Another ABC Family show, Kyle XY, has been cancelled. Greek and Lincoln Heights have both been renewed also.

Meaghan played the mean girl in “Camp Rock”, but I don’t know if she’ll star in “Camp Rock 2”. I am looking forward to seeing her in something else.

Meaghan played Tess Tyler in the DCOM Camp Rock and did a really good job of playing a mean girl.  She was easy to not like in the beginning but then she came around and ended up being pretty nice.

I wonder if she will be in Camp Rock 2 and will become a snob again like Sharpay has done in High School Musical. So far, the only ones I know wo are on board are the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato (and Frankie Jonas I hear!!).

As far as upcoming projects for Meaghan, I can’t find any except that she plays a middle school girl in Privileged which is in post-production right now. Maybe in her interview today she will let us know what she has up next.

Some of you have said you weren’t really a fan of Meaghan’s until Camp Rock. How many of you have become a fan and hope to see her in more Disney projects?
