The Jonas Brothers are not planning on slowing down anytime soon. They recently chatted with MTV about their upcoming Disney Channel series “JONAS”, their world tour and a new album. WOW!

"Before the TV show comes out, we have our tickets for our tour going on sale. We have the [TV] show in May, then the album, then the tour," Kevin Jonas said. "So we have a lot of things in the pipeline. But things are looking fun right now."

They are almost done filming the first season of “JONAS”, which is good because they have a lot ahead of them.

Joe Jonas said, "We have, like, a week left of the television [show]," he said of the shooting schedule. "It’s, like, one and a half weeks."

2009 is definitely a busy year for Kevin, Joe and Nick. But hey, they are hot right now, so they need to ride it while they can. They will always have a large group of followers I believe, but they are on top of the world right now with their movie, new show, etc.

Here’s their MTV interview:

Frankie Jonas Makes His Disney Channel Debut on “JONAS”

January 27, 2009 by Julie Bonner

24990PCN_Jonas The “Bonus Jonas” Frankie will be making his Disney Channel debut on the new series “JONAS”. Joe Jonas recently chatted about their new Disney Channel series and his little brother.

"He’s eight now," Joe said. "He just had a birthday. It’s cool for him because, for us, we didn’t know how he would do, and he surprises us every day how well he does when he comes in every day. He’s in and out, and he finishes so quickly. It’s a lot of fun."

Music comes naturally for the Jonas Brothers, but acting is something that’s new to them. They weren’t sure how it would go, but I think they have made a great show.

Joe goes on to say, "We’re so used to doing music that this gives us a great opportunity to have acting and music involved. It’s an easy transition for us because we’re natural musicians, but acting is something that’s totally different for us. Going into it, we were pretty nervous. We weren’t sure how we would do. We did Camp Rock, but doing a television series, we didn’t know exactly how it would roll out. It’s been a lot of fun. It’s just a great opportunity so far."

Do you think “JONAS” is going to be a bit HIT?!

TV Guide Catches up with the Jonas Brothers at the Golden Globes

January 12, 2009 by Julie Bonner

The Jonas Brothers attended the 66th Golden Globes on January 11th. They presented “Wall-E” with the Best Animated Feature award.

I thought Joe and Nick looked fabulous, but does Kevin’s suit jacket look too small on him, or is it just me. Don’t get me wrong…I am a fan of Kevin’s, but something is kind of off with his red carpet style.

Anyway, TV Guide’s Joey Fatone caught up with the Jonas Brothers on the red carpet.

J.O.N.A.S. will be coming to the Disney Channel sometime this fall. Here’s the story line for those of you who don’t know it yet:

Three brothers, rocking out and taking the world by storm. But they aren’t just doing this through their music! Meet the Jonas Brothers. Three extraordinary and musically talented brothers leading a double life! To the world, they are the super awesome heart throb rock stars known as the Jonas Brothers, but behind all this, they are J.O.N.A.S., Junior Operatives Networking as Spies. In this world of darkness and evil, these three brothers, with the help of their secret agent dad must thwart the evil deeds of Dr. Harvey Fleischman, an evil dentist bent on take over the world’s young adults. However, thwarting evil and saving the world can be difficult when you’re also going to high school, keeping their secret identity from Mom, and being stalked by Stella Malone, a teenage reporter working undercover who’s trying to get the behind-the-scenes scoop on your up-and-coming band.

Not only are Kevin, Joe and Nick starring in the show as themselves, but so is the “Bonus Jonas” Frankie. I can’t wait to see their little brother act. I have a feeling he may steal the show. ;)

Please visit the Film and Television Blog for more information. Disclaimer: I am NOT associated with these auditions in any way. The information I reported here is all I know about! :D

Jonas Brothers on Air With Ryan Seacrest

July 8, 2008 by Julie Bonner

The Jonas Brothers called into Ryan Seacrest’s morning show to promote their new tour as well as their new album “A Little Bit Longer“. The boys also stayed long enough to do a little rumor control. They chatted about Joe and Demi never kissing in Camp Rock, if Nick is dating Selena Gomez, Joe’s Emma Watson crush…among other things. I love Ryan’s show. He always has the best stars and asked the best questions. :D

Chelsea Staub Chats About J.O.N.A.S.

July 3, 2008 by Julie Bonner

chelsea-staub-01_nc.jpg

Minutemen star Chelsea Staub chatted with J-14 about the upcoming Disney Channel series J.O.N.A.S. Chelsea co-stars alongside the somewhat popular (lol) Jonas Brothers.

She said, “It’s going to be like The Monkees and a little of bit of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. There’s going to be fun action sequences and still be a sitcom.

Hey, I love both The Monkees and Mr & Ms Smith! I have been dying to hear more about this show. Chelsea also mentions some romance on the show.

It’s the first time a girl is thrown into the mix with three boys. It’s just a romance with one of them. It’s a spy team with three guys and a girl..Adding a female into the mix makes it a little different.

Which Jonas Brother do you think Chelsea’s character has a romance with? I’m thinking Joe Jonas.

Filming on J.O.N.A.S. starts after the Jonas Brothers “Burnin’ Up” tour is over. Thanks to oceanUp for the scoop!
