She said: “I think it’s been decided they’re going for a whole new route with it which is a shame but I had a really good time doing the third one.”

She added: “I’m back to auditioning and have got some cool opportunities and good scripts so hope something comes up!

“When I’m 16 and have left school I can start concentrating on other stuff and in ten years time I’ll hopefully have a film or two under my belt but I love theatre too so that would be fun.”

I actually think this might be a smart move. I wasn’t quite sure about these “newbies” that they brought in for HSM3 anyway. Something seemed a little off to me. If they are going to do another High School Musical movie without the original cast, they really do need to surprise us and it sounds like that’s exactly what Disney has up their sleeve. We know the story line, but the cast is a mystery.

Demi Lovato: Early this year, Demi Lovato found herself working alongside the Jonas Brothers in “Camp Rock.” She quickly scaled the Disney ranks, where she toured with the JoBros, denied she had any feud with supposed rival Miley Cyrus and released her album “Don’t Forget,” which debuted at #2 on the charts. Selena Gomez: She kicked off the year with her TV show, “Wizards of Waverly Place,” only to find herself pitted against Miley Cyrus, starring in a Jonas Brothers music video and accidentally leaking news that there’s a “Wizards” movie in the works. She also became a member of the Jonas Brothers girlfriends club when she reportedly began dating Nick over the summer.

HSM3 – New Class: Justin Martin and Jemma McKenzie-Brown are hoping to pick up where Zac, Vanessa, Corbin and Ashley left off. Describing themselves as a “breath of fresh air” to the franchise, and with rumors of a fourth “High School Musical” in the works, there’s definitely the possibility that these two young’uns have what it takes to sing and dance their way into the hearts of teens everywhere.

What happens when a young British star finds out they landed a role in one of the biggest movies of the year? They run around the house screaming of course!! That’s exactly what Jemma McKenzie-Brown, who plays Tiara in High School Musical 3, did when she heard the good news.

“I ran around the house screaming,” Jemma McKenzie-Brown said. “My grandma was like, ‘What’s wrong?’ I was like, ‘Nothing, nothing. I’m really excited!‘ ”

Jemma is an experienced actress and the call for the role came after months of auditioning. So not matter how experienced you are, finally finding out you got such a big role has got to feel good. Jemma is playing the role of Tiara Goal, a transfer student from England who becomes Sharpay’s personal assistant/ “mini-me” in the upcoming flick.

Was Jemma at all nervous when it came time to “rub elbows” with the HSM clan? Yeah, just a bit. She was a little nervous but she said that everyone made them feel very welcomed.

“They incorporated us into everything they did,” McKenzie-Brown said. “If they were all hanging out in someone’s room, they’d ring us or text us, so it was really cool.”

Jemma also says that the fact she is starring in HSM3 hasn’t really sunk in yet.

“It’s just too huge. Everything is really surreal, and it hasn’t sunk in yet,” she said. “You have to take a step back and just think of what is actually going on. It’s crazy. It’s not something you ever imagine happening to you, so luckily it has. I’m really fortunate.”
