Jason Earles Guest Stars on Disney XD’s “Aaron Stone”

If you’ve been reading Disney Society for awhile, then you knew this episode was coming! Back in February when I interviewed Jason Earles in regards to “Hannah Montana the Movie”, he talked about filming an episode for the Disney XD hit “Aaron Stone”.

Here’s what Jason had to say about filming the episode, which is called “Stan By Me”:

Disney Society: So, Disney is launching a new network, Disney XD. I saw that you’ll be playing Hunter in Aaron Stone. What can you tell me about that show?

Jason: I am really excited about Aaron Stone. Before I went up there to shoot my episode, they sent me the first 3 episodes and it is so good. It’s totally a boy,action show. They’ve got martial arts fighting. They’ve got really cool computer graphics for these video games that they play. The characters are all really cool. For the episode that I did, I played Hunter who is like a cyborg, terminatortype , who’s the defender of the hero Charlie. So, I show up at school and I am there as his sidekick to help defend him basically. Then I get damaged in a battle and I totally go evil, terminator…trying to destroy Aaron Stone.

What’s so cool is that they have full teams of stunt guys out there. The fight choreography is amazing and my stunt double was really good. But they taught me all of the fight choreography and I was doing like me against three soldiers, martial arts fighters with no experience. But they did a good job at teaching me all of the stuff and I think they are going to actually use a lot of my fighting. I was so excited to shoot that episode.

I am really optimistic that this show is going to be the boy answer to Hannah Montana. I think this show is going to be huge for them.

I can’t wait to see Jason in this episode!

In "Stan By Me", Stan is replaced by Hunter, a hip teenage android who helps Aaron Stone battle The General, but ends up short circuiting and thinks his new mission is to destroy Aaron Stone. Now, Stone needs to find a way to save himself and destroy Hunter before it’s too late. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Charlie, a Code Ten (dismantlement) has been ordered for Stan in "Aaron Stone," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD.

Jason Earles “Jackson Needs to Get a Girlfriend”

Popstar stopped to talk to Jason Earles and asked him what he would like to see on season 4 of Hannah Montana. What did he say? That he would really like to see Jackson get a girlfriend this season. I totally agree!

Disney made an announcement at the beginning of June that they ordered a fourth season of Hannah Montana. The storyline for the fourth season will have the Stewarts grappling with saying goodbye to their beachfront Malibu home. This season will contain all of the same characters we know and love, but we will be seeing a little less of Oliver Oken, since Mitchel Musso has been on tour.

We also know that this is the last season of Hannah Montana, because Billy Ray Cyrus confirmed the news, and it’s also obvious from the story line.

Next week, I get to talk to the adorable, funny and talented Jason Earles, who plays Jackson on “Hannah Montana”. I am very excited!

My family has been a fan of Jason’s since “Hannah Montana” aired for the very first time. I love his character Jackson and how he handles having a rock star for a sister.

Jason will reprise his role as Jackson in “Hannah Montana: The Movie”.He’s also starring in the upcoming DCOM “Dadnapped”.

“Night of Stars” on the Disney Channel, February 16th

February 16th is a star-studded night for the Disney Channel, with the debut of “Night of Stars” (7:00-9:40 p.m., ET/PT). Take a look at the schedule, which includes a new music video from the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, as well as the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie “Dadnapped”. It’s a BIG night!

Leading off the night is the premiere of a music video "BBGood", by the Jonas Brothers. The video will premiere at 8:20 p.m., ET/PT.
Next up is the premiere of the music video from Miley Cyrus’ inspirational ballad, "The Climb”. The song is from “Hannah Montana: The Movie”. Both “The Climb” and another song from the movie “HoeDown ThrowDown," debut between 7:00-9:40 p.m., ET/PT.
At 8:00-9:40 p.m., ET/PT, the DCOM “Dadnapped”, starring Emily Osment, David Henrie, Jason Earles, Moises Arias and Phill Lewis, will air. The cast will host the “Night of Stars” event.
A music video for "3Rs," featuring "Hannah Montana" star and Walt Disney Records recording artist Mitchel Musso from the "School House Rock" DVD, will air at approximately 8:24 p.m., ET/PT.
New episodes of “Wizards of Waverly Place” and (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) and "Hannah Montana" (7:30 p.m., ET/PT), will start off the night.

WOW! What a night of TV on the Disney Channel.

Jason Earles Says Leave Miley Alone!!

Jason Earles has spoken up in defense to his Hannah Montana co-star Miley Cyrus. Jason plays Miley’s older brother Jackson and not only does he try to take care of her on the show, but he is doing so in real life too.

“I feel like they are picking on her,” Jason told People Magazine, referring to the recently released photos. “She’s a really good kid and like any normal 15-year-old, she’s not always going to make the best decisions.”

Jason says that everyone seems to forget that charity work that Miley does.

“If you’d see the amount of time she spends with the Make-A-Wish kids that come down to the set or the Phone-A-Friend program, where she calls these sick kids to cheer them up,” he said. “If people saw the amount of positive things that she does, they would see how silly the picture ’scandals’ really are.”

He says that Miley IS a great role model. What do you think about what Jason said? I think it is great he is sticking up for her. That’s what friends are supposed to do. I imagine that through this whole mess, Miley has been able to see who her true friends are.

Jason Earles on the Set of the Hannah Montana Movie

There are SO many new pictures that have come out today from the set of the Hannah Montana Movie. I am going to post them into several different post for you all to see.

Just about the whole cast was seen on the Santa Monica Peir today shooting scenes for Lily’s 16th birthday party. Here are some shots of Jason Earles, who plays Miley Stewart’s brother Jackson. He cracks me up!

Jason Earles Does Ozzy Impersonation in the “(We’re So Sorry) Uncle Earle” Episode

Tonight is the new episode of Hannah Montana “(We’re So Sorry) Uncle Earle“. To get ready for his role, Jason Earles has to watch a lot of Ozzy Osbourne.

“With Ozzy, you don’t understand a single word that he says,” notes Earles. “So I listened to a bunch of Ozzy stuff on YouTube, then I tried to make it as shaky and incomprehensible as possible.“

Jason also mentions that this is the episode where we finally get to meet Uncle Earle.

“We referenced Uncle Earl for about 50 episodes. David Koechner, who is one of the funniest guys I’ve ever seen, is playing him.”
