MSN has a great article about High School Musical 3: Senior Year and it involves some spoilers! Here are the highlights:

• The finale was shot on a football field with about 1,000 people
• HSM3 was definitely treated as a feature by Ortega and not like the other two HSMs.
• There are 6 major musical numbers.
• There is a Busby Berkeley inspired cafeteria number, a senior show that references important moments in the first two films, a duet between Efron and Bleu to a new song, “Boys Are Back,” and a prom scene that may or may not include a dream sequence.
• Zac Efron mentions that the prom scene  is more like a fantasy.  It’s a little bit more grand and he says there’s kind of a twist!
• In a scene filmed in the gym, Troy and Gabriella sing a romantic feature where everyone changes partners midwaltz. There’s a gazebo at one end of the gym.

It definitely sounds magical!

In other HSM3 news, there is a rumor that the official High School Musical 3 website will open on July 4th. It is being said that it will include a trailer, a song preview and promotional pictures. I’ll be watching for it!

Remember the newcomers to the High School Musical family? They are Jemma-McKenzie Brown, Matt Prokop and Justin Martin. Access Hollywood sat down with the three to talk about High School Musical 3. They chat about meeting the stars of the movie, trying out for their parts and how HSM3 is changing their lives.

Matt Prokop said that the auditions were the first time he had ever sang and that he’s not a dancer or a singer, yet he landed the part. I can’t wait to see how these sophomores fit into the story.

In other HSM3 news, today was the last day of filming for the entire cast. Which means, this is their last time together and their HSM days are closely coming to an end. How sad? I can’t imagine what it felt like on set today.

Also, don’t forget about the HSM3 trailer that will be shown during Wall-E this weekend. We have some info about the trailer thanks to HSMRocks. You can read about it below the cut!

The trailer doesn’t sound quite as exciting as I hoped, but hey, it’s something at least! Here’s the info:

There are some more “High School Musical 3” spoilers leaking out! I won’t ruin it for those of you who don’t want to know, so I will start posting the spoilers below the cut. Some of you have said you don’t like spoilers and want to be surprised! So, for the new HSM3 spoilers, click the “read more” link.

First spoiler: Quite awhile ago we told you that Corbin Bleu mentioned that his character Chad does have a love interest in HSM3. Well, in a recent interview, Corbin revealed that him and Monique Coleman’s character go to prom together. Hmmmm….I’m not sure how I feel about that. I was kind-of hoping it would be someone different, but I guess she is the obvious choice.

Second spoiler: In the beginning of the film, the wildcats basketball team are playing the West High Knights again but this is state. Troy gets fouled and people are worried and concerned. The crowd puts cards over their head that reveal Wildcat paws. Troy sees Gabriella in the crowd too and the first song begins. The crowd flips the cards and it says “Go.” During the song, everyone is singing and the team is playing basketball with the crowd singing stuff like “Score, Three More” which is part of the song. With the cheerleaders doing the most amazing routine and the crowd is going wild.

Ashley Tisdale sat down with US Magazine and revealed a few things about her character Sharpay in High School Musical 3. Guess what…it sounds like Sharpay hasn’t changed much!

“She is a manipulator, a villain and a drama queen,” Tisdale, 22, said while promoting her Degree Girl contest (in which she’ll give away a trip to a future concert). “And she always has her eye on Troy. It’s Zac Efron – who wouldn’t?”

Ashley also said that boyfriend Jared Murillo, who was in the sequel, won’t be in HSM3.

She also revealed that HSM3 is “more amazing, more exciting and much bigger production.” Does Sharpay leave Troy alone this time? No way! She will once again try to come between Troy and Gabriella. Will it work this time?!

Ashley added that since the movie is about Senior Year, it will probably include prom and graduation.

Sounds exciting to me!! Surely Sharpay will finally find her true love though, don’t you think?

Anywho, here’s a great video from Access Hollywood entitled “Meet the New Faces of High School Musical 3“. You get to see Matt, Jemma and Justin all trying out and rehearsing songs and scenes. It’s great to see them in action and I think they will be a great asset to HSM3. So exciting!
