MSN has a great article about High School Musical 3: Senior Year and it involves some spoilers! Here are the highlights:

• The finale was shot on a football field with about 1,000 people
• HSM3 was definitely treated as a feature by Ortega and not like the other two HSMs.
• There are 6 major musical numbers.
• There is a Busby Berkeley inspired cafeteria number, a senior show that references important moments in the first two films, a duet between Efron and Bleu to a new song, “Boys Are Back,” and a prom scene that may or may not include a dream sequence.
• Zac Efron mentions that the prom scene  is more like a fantasy.  It’s a little bit more grand and he says there’s kind of a twist!
• In a scene filmed in the gym, Troy and Gabriella sing a romantic feature where everyone changes partners midwaltz. There’s a gazebo at one end of the gym.

It definitely sounds magical!

Check it out everyone! We have brand new behind-the-scenes pictures of High School Musical 3: Senior Year! I love the one of Gabriella and Troy from the prom. I am going to try to find out what magazine this is from. I’ll let you know….

In other HSM3 news, there is a rumor that the official High School Musical 3 website will open on July 4th. It is being said that it will include a trailer, a song preview and promotional pictures. I’ll be watching for it!

Just in case you were wondering, the High School Musical 3: Senior Year Original 27×41 Poster is available for purchase on Amazon.com. It seems a little pricey for a poster. It’s selling for $19.99, but hey, it is HSM3 and it’s a genuine collector’s item.

On another note, take a look at Ryan’s Rockettes. Apparently in High School Musical 3, Ryan has his own posse, similar to Sharpay’s Sharpettes. How fun would it have been to wear one of those outfits? I am loving the pink boots!

I went to see Wall-E (GREAT movie btw!!) last night and I was very disappointed that they didn’t show the HSM3 trailer. I guess only select theaters are showing it and mine wasn’t one of them. It’s weird because I live in a big city and I thought they would have shown it. I even had my cell phone out and ready to record it for you guys, lol. Oh well, maybe a trailer will surface on YouTube. It’s annoying that Bolt comes out after HSM3 and they already have a trailer for that. Pft!

HSM3GNews has received some news on another song title for High School Musical 3. It’s “We’re All in This Together“. Sound familiar?

The song isn’t new, but it’s been remade. The whole cast sings the song together, but this time it’s sung as a choir song. The song is sung when the Wildcats graduate. The song “High School Musical” is sung after everyone graduates.

Remember the newcomers to the High School Musical family? They are Jemma-McKenzie Brown, Matt Prokop and Justin Martin. Access Hollywood sat down with the three to talk about High School Musical 3. They chat about meeting the stars of the movie, trying out for their parts and how HSM3 is changing their lives.

Matt Prokop said that the auditions were the first time he had ever sang and that he’s not a dancer or a singer, yet he landed the part. I can’t wait to see how these sophomores fit into the story.

In other HSM3 news, today was the last day of filming for the entire cast. Which means, this is their last time together and their HSM days are closely coming to an end. How sad? I can’t imagine what it felt like on set today.

Also, don’t forget about the HSM3 trailer that will be shown during Wall-E this weekend. We have some info about the trailer thanks to HSMRocks. You can read about it below the cut!

This weekend, a teaser trailer for High School Musical 3 is supposed to be shown during Wall-E! Unlike the trailer shown on the HSM2 DVD, this one will show all HSM3 scenes. So, if you plan on heading to the theaters this weekend for Wall-E, don’t show up late and miss the HSM3 trailer.

In other HSM3 news, there are some new spoilers out and they are about Sharpay and Ryan. 

This weekend Sharpay and Ryan filmed the scene with the song “I Want it All“. The scene starts in the cafeteria and Sharpay is telling Ryan about her fantasy of having it all. Then the music starts playing, and the cafeteria turns into a New York City scene, with a pink carpet. It’s like Oscar night!
