“The Suite Life on Deck: Anchor’s Away” on DVD August 25th

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is releasing another fun DVD for Disney Channel fans on August 25th. The Suite Life on Deck: Anchors Away! stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse who reprise their roles from the Emmy-nominated series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. I received my preview copy and Disney has released another great DVD yet again!

The Suite Life on Deck: Anchors Away! follows twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin (Dylan and Cole Sprouse) and hotel heiress London Tipton (Brenda Song) as they enroll in a semester-at-sea program aboard the SS Tipton. Much to his chagrin, dutiful hotel manager Mr. Moseby (Phill Lewis) must go aboard, too, assuming responsibility for all three. The DVD contains four episodes, including one with Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) reprising her role as Maddie from the original series, along with many bonus features!

I love the bonus feature with the boys interviewing Debby. It’s pretty funny. The Suite Life on Deck has been a big hit for the Disney Channel and among fans. Be sure and pick up your copy on August 25th!

New Episode of The Suite Life on Deck – "In The Line of Duty"

On August 21st, you can finally see a new episode of “The Suite Life on Deck”! (Don’t forget the cross-over event episodes that air this Friday!)

In "In The Line of Duty" , as punishment for setting off a stink cloud, Zack (Dylan Sprouse) is made hall monitor, a role which he takes way too seriously. After sending half of the school to detention, Zack experiences the repercussions of upsetting all of his friends. Meanwhile, Bailey (Debby Ryan) gets a job at London’s boutique, an extension of London’s (Brenda Song) personal closet.

Disney Channel Orders More Suite Life on Deck!

The Disney Channel announced today that they have ordered more season 2 episodes of “The Suite Life on Deck”. In addition to more episodes, they are introducing a new character played by actor Larramie "Doc" Shaw ("House of Payne").

“With this second-season extension, the cast of ‘The Suite Life’ makes Disney Channel history by becoming the longest running continuous characters on our air – 138 half-hour episodes. We are thrilled for them, and for the brilliant, inspired production team that made this extraordinary run possible,” said Gary Marsh, president Entertainment, Disney Channels Worldwide.

Are you excited about more Suite Life on Deck? I know I am!

Dylan and Cole Sprouse 2009 Kids Choice Awards

Dylan and Cole Sprouse teamed up for a pose on the 2009 Kids Choice Awards orange carpet. Although their show, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” didn’t win for Favorite TV show, Dylan Sprouse won an award for Favorite TV Actor. Congrats to Dylan!

The twins met up with former co-star Ashley Tisdale and current TSLD co-star Brenda Song and received a great big hug. I guess these shows are sort of like a reunion for some of the stars. Ashley, Brenda, Dylan and Cole all looked very happy to see each other.

I can’t imagine how fun it must be to work on the set of “The Suite Life on Deck”. The entire cast seems to get along so well and I have heard that they all have a blast filming the show.

I am so excited about these new promotional photos for the new Disney Channel series “The Suite Life on Deck” which debuts September 26th! We get to see the new set and also new stars to the show Debby Ryan and Steven Monroe. I am sad that Ashley Tisdale is gone, but I’ve heard she will make an appearance here and there. I don’t understand why Kim Rhodes is gone though?! Maybe she is moving on to other things, but she did such a great job playing Zack and Cody’s mom. I’m sad!

Suite Life on Deck Makes Its Disney Channel Premiere September 26th

As ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody‘ comes to an end soon, the Disney Channel isn’t leaving us hanging without our Zack and Cody fix. On September 26th at 8:00 pm ET/PT, ‘The Suite Life on Deck‘ makes its debut!!

The new show still has some of our favorites which include Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song and Phill Lewis. The show also introduces newcomer Debby Ryan. She will also be featured in a series of video blogs which debuts Friday, August 29th, (7:55 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The video blog documents her journey to joining ‘The Suite Life on Deck‘. Sounds interesting!

How many of you plan on watching this show? I’m going to seriously miss Ashley Tisdale’s character Maddy, but I have heard rumors that she will make a guest appearance or two. She better!!
