Casting for ‘The Suite Life on Deck’ will begin once gain in January 2009. Wouldn’t that be a fun show to have a guest spot on?!

The Disney Channel has ordered more shows for season 2 of TSLD. The ratings are going strong, grabbing the number 2 spot among kids 6 to 11 and #3 among tweens.

I get asked a ton of questions every week about Disney Auditions and I have been working on making contacts in the industry so that I can bring you up-to-date information about what’s out there. I know you want to know what auditions there are, how to audition for the shows/movies and what Disney is looking for in regards to talent.

On Saturday, May 10th, the producers of the Hannah Montana Movie will be at the Rivergate Mall in Nashville, TN looking for extras to appear in the movie. They are especially looking for adults over the age of 50, so go grab your parents and grandparents and help make them a star, lol!

You need to be at the center court between 10 am and 2 pm with a recent 4×6 photo and a pen.

The Hannah Montana Movie is set to be filmed in Tennessee this summer and script details are still under wraps. We know the gist of the movie, but that’s about it. As I find out any more audition details or movie details, I’ll let you know!

This past Sunday was the open casting calls for the Hannah Montana Movie in Nashville, TN and thousands of fans and aspiring actors stood in line for hours for their shot at fame.

Anything that Miley Cyrus touches seems to bring lines and lines of fans.

Okay, so a lot of you have questions about the Hannah Montana Movie Auditions. Let me see if I can clear a few things up for you:

• There is an open casting call for extras in Tennessee on April 6th. You can read all of the information here.
• You do not have to live in Tennessee to audition, but you do have to be staying in the area during production.
• These are auditions for extras, not a main role in the movie.
• If you can not make these auditions, then go ahead and send in your picture and info to Mon Tan Casting. The address and what information you need to send in is listed here.

I know a lot of you are very interested in the Hannah Montana Movie Auditions. I am posting information as I find it and I’ve found just a little more information about the extras casting call that will be held on April 6th in Nashville. Read very carefully show that Here’s the information:

“Extras are needed to be background actors in the motion picture movie starring 15-year-old teen pop sensation Miley Ray Cyrus.

An open casting call will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 6 at the Sommet Center, 501 Broadway, in downtown Nashville.

The background actors — who will have non-speaking parts — could work one day to several weeks, and an average of 12 to 14 hours each day, according to Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures national publicity office.

People who want to be considered must bring a recent 4-inch by 6-inch snapshot and a pen. No photo, no part. Adults must accompany minor children at the call and during any work. No experience is necessary.”

Filming for the movie starts on May 6th!!

I know that title is a little vague and that’s because that’s all Disney is giving us. Walt Disney Studios is looking for extras to appear in what they call “a major motion picture based on a hit television series starring a well known pop teen sensation.” Hmmmm…I guess we can make a wild guess about that one and say it’s most likely for the Hannah Montana movie.

The open casting call for extras is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, at the Sommet Center in Nashville.

The studio says it’s looking for background actors of all ages for non-speaking parts. No experience is necessary.

Everyone must bring a recent nonreturnable snapshot and a pen.

Filming begins in and around Nashville on May 6.
