I saw this movie in the theater on opening night and loved it. I thought the story was great, the characters were funny, emotional and just fun to watch. If you didn’t get a chance to head to the theater, now is your chance to see the movie! I think you’ll love it.

Being a superstar as well as a normal teenager is getting even more complicated for Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus). Her crazy double life as pop sensation Hannah Montana is taking its toll on the teen and her family. So Miley’s dad, Robby Ray Stewart (Miley’s real-life father, Billy Ray Cyrus) decides a visit to the family farm in Tennessee to celebrate Grandma Ruby’s (Margo Martindale) birthday will bring his little girl back down to earth. Far away from the bright lights and the big city, Miley reconnects with childhood friend Travis (Lucas Till).

Their budding romance, along with the love of her family and friends, gives Miley some much- needed perspective on life. But when her pushy publicist (Vanessa Williams) comes calling and a smarmy reporter (Peter Gunn) tries to dig up the dirt on Hannah, Miley is forced to make the hardest decision of her life.

Hannah Montana The Movie stars Miley Cyrus as everyday high school girl Miley Stewart and her rock star alter ego Hannah Montana. Cyrus is joined in the film by her stellar cast mates from the hit Disney Channel series including Emily Osment, Moises Arias, Mitchel Musso, Billy Ray Cyrus and Jason Earles. Hatching Pete
When Pete is begged by his best friend Poole to stand-in as their high school’s mascot, the chicken, Pete agrees as long as his identity will remain unknown. Poole, who is allergic to the chicken suit but feels he can’t quit being the mascot because his family legacy is to be the chicken, readily agrees to keep the secret. When Pete dons the chicken suit, he becomes transforms into an outrageous guy, and the chicken becomes a celebrity except no one knows that Pete is the chicken. With everyone anxious to find out the chicken’s true identity, Pete must decide if it’s finally time to admit that he’s the man behind the beak.

Dadnapped
Fourteen year-old Melissa could use some attention from her dad, Neil. That’s because bestselling author Neil seems to spend most of his time creating exciting missions for his imaginary son teen spy Tripp Zoome. A daughter-dad vacation gets off to a rocky start when Neil tells Melissa that their vacation to the Grand Canyon will include a stop at a promotional event for his new Zoome book. I saw this film in the movie theater and loved it! It has something for everyone and it’s definitely a movie the whole family will enjoy. Adam Sandler is brilliantly funny and the kids who played his niece and nephew are two new actors that I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of.

I had the chance to interview Laura Ann Kesling (who plays Bobbi) and Jonathan Morgan Heit (who plays Patrick). I’ll have those interviews up within the next couple of days.

As a handyman at the hotel his father used to own, Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler) spends his days changing light bulbs and competing with the hotel’s smarmy manager (Guy Pearce) for the attention of the new owner’s beautiful, hard-partying daughter, Violet (Theresa Palmer). When his sister Wendy (Courteney Cox) asks Skeeter to babysit her kids for a week while she’s out of town, Skeeter entertains his niece and nephew with elaborate, original bedtime stories that transport them to exotic locales, including ancient Greece, the Wild West and outer space. When he tries to help his family by telling one outlandish tale after another, it’s the kids’ unexpected contributions that turn all of their lives upside down. Full of imaginative special effects and good-natured hilarity, Bedtime Stories is a winning combination of comedy and adventure.

I wanted to share with you these 10 Fun Facts About “BOLT” that I think you will enjoy. This movie has become one of my all time favorite Disney movies. I love the story, the characters, the animation and the celebrities who voiced the characters. It’s just over all a fantastic movie.

10 FUN FACTS ABOUT “BOLT”

1. Mittens, the street-wise alley cat, was originally called Mr. Mittens, because her owners never took the time to figure out if she was a boy or a girl.

2. The creative journey began with the desire to evoke the painterly style of classic Disney Animated Features and American painters such as Edward

3. Hopper, George Bellows and other Ashcan School Artists from the early 20th century.

4. To get a feel for the locations where Bolt and his entourage would be traveling, art director Paul Felix, director of lighting and look Adolph Lusinsky and others packed it up and hit the road. Exploring such locations as New York, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

5. Rhino, the hamster, was originally supposed to be a rat. During the initial story retreat to develop the idea for the film, Rhino was morphed into a hamster riding inside a plastic ball.

6. The design for the main character Bolt was loosely inspired by the American White Shepherd.

7. It takes 4-5 months to get one shot all the way through production – from layout to animation to lighting (a shot averages 4 seconds in length on “Bolt”).

8. There are a total of 28 sequences in the film comprised of 131,738 frames and 1,239 shots. 110 terabytes of data are active at any second in the production.

9. Throughout production, each member of the crew working on “Bolt” would pin pictures of their pet in the “Production Pets Gallery.”

10. The production actually has a pet hamster named Doink! who has become a beloved crew member and is observed as reference for the animators.

In celebration of the release, I have a fun Q&A with Penny (voiced by Miley Cyrus), who is Bolt’s person. She talks about fame, acting and her precious pup Bolt.

What’s life like as a famous actress, Penny?

Acting is a lot of fun, but I’m not the star of the show. That’s Bolt, of course! He’s the one who people tune into watch every week. He’s the prefect canine co-star and I love him to bits.

Tell us about your television show…

It’s an action adventure about a super dog called Bolt. He is a pooch with incredible strength, laser vision and a powerful superbark. You don’t want to mess with Bolt! He’s always helping my character escape from danger and away from the clutches of the evil green-eyed villain, Dr. Calico.

You and Bolt must be very close…

We are! Bolt is my favorite animal in the world, but I feel sorry for him at times because he is never allowed to be a real dog. I always want to take him home at the weekends and play with him, but I’m never allowed.

Why’s that?

Because the big bosses make Bolt stay in his trailer every night. I asked my agent if I could take Bolt home – just for one night – but I wasn’t allowed. It really upsets me because I don’t like the thought of him being alone all the time.

Does Bolt live in a swanky trailer?

It is lovely. There are photos of Bolt and me all over the walls – and he has loads of space in there. Bolt believes everything on the show is real, so he isn’t allowed to leave in case he finds out the truth. He can’t find out it’s just a TV show. It’s all a bit sad really.

When did you and Bolt first meet?

We met years ago when I rescued him from an animal shelter. I remember the first time I saw him. He looked so cute! I knew I had to have him as soon as I set my eyes on him. His tail was wagging and he was all slobbery. He was so cool!

How often do you get to hang out with Bolt?

I spend as much time as possible with Bolt. In fact, my favorite hobby is having fun with my buddy. He’s so loving and caring – and slobbery.

Do you have any other hobbies?

I also love photography. I take a camera with me wherever I go and I’m always snapping pictures. I try to take a photo at the end of every adventure I go on with Bolt to remind us of the fun we have. I’ve got all the pictures at home.

Does Bolt have a favorite hobby?

He loves everything that normal dogs enjoy, including going for walks and playing with toys. His favorite toy isMr. Carrot, which is a squeaky carrot. Bolt’s had Mr. Carrot ever since we first met and he can’t get enough of chewing him.

How would you describe Bolt?

Bolt is a slobbery good boy who I love to bits!

Can you describe your puppy pal in one word?

Ooh, that’s a toughie! Let me think… [Penny pauses to ponder the question] Oh, I know. I’d describe Bolt as “Pawfect”! Ha ha! Geddit? Per-fect? Paw-fect? Bolt is the most paw-fect dog in the world – and don’t you forget it!

It took me awhile to get into this movie and I wasn’t quite sure about it at first. But, as I continued to watch it, it grabbed me. The story line and the lesson that this movie teaches is something every kid (and adult) needs to learn. My kids enjoyed it and they understood what it was trying to say to them.

I loved the animation in this film!

Here’s a little bit about the film:

One of China’s top grossing family films and Disney’s first Chinese language film, “The Secret of the Magic Gourd” will appeal to the world over with its heartwarming, fun-filled adventures and universal themes of perseverance and self-reliance.

Based on the beloved Chinese children’s novel, “The Secret of the Magic Gourd” tells the timeless story of a boy’s coming of age using a dazzling combination of live action, CGI animation and spectacular special effects.  In addition to the English soundtrack, Mandarin and Cantonese soundtracks are also available on the same DVD.

“The Secret of the Magic Gourd” is the story of Raymond, a young daydreamer whose vivid imagination has made him an outcast at school. On a solo fishing trip, Raymond reels in the mysterious Magic Gourd, who offers to make all his wishes come true. When each of Raymond’s seemingly simple wishes backfires, creating unintentionally hilarious consequences for the boy, he realizes that "there’s no such thing as an unearned reward," but with a little hard work, he can create his own kind of magic and achieve his dreams.
