Disney Channel always has a project up their sleeve, usually several at a time. I decided to do some digging and see what Disney Channel movies and series are in the works. Here’s what I found:

I received my preview copy of Sonny with a Chance: Sonny’s Big Break on DVD and it’s a great one! You get four episodes of the Disney Channel hit and they are some of the best ones of the season. The bonus episodes are also worth the purchase of the DVD. Demi’s audition tape is great. That girl is so talented!

Disney has officially greenlighted the new Disney Channel series “Welcome to Mollywood” starring Camp Rock’s Demi Lovato! Guess what everyone is saying? “Watch out Miley and Hilary!”
This show has the potential to put Demi at the same star status as Miley Cyrus and Hilary Duff.
The series centers on Molly, a 15-year old small town girl, is chosen to join the cast of the most popular and long-running teen sketch comedy show on television, after a nation-wide search. The series will feature a show-within-a-show and will have quite its fair share of comedy sketches.

Disney has been busy making announcements lately. The newest ones are which series they have ordered back for more and what Disney Channel Original Movies are in the works.
