Yep, this is a BIG weekend for Disney Channel lovers! Tomorrow, July 27th at 8/7 c, is the premiere of the 2008 Disney Channel Games. It’s about time right?! We have all been waiting forever to be able to see them.

Before you watch it, you can meet the players, check out some pictures from the games and look at the schedule of when the games will show, so you can mark it down!

Beginning Sunday, July 27th (8:00 pm ET/PT) on the Disney Channel, we finally get to see the 2008 Disney Channel Games!! Disney will present 5 half-hour telecasts featuring over 50 Disney Channel stars from around the world, who will compete in comical relay races, grand scale obstacle courses and fun challenges..

The games are hosted by “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’s” Brian Stepanek. Who will win the Disney Channel Games Cup this year?!

After the first telecast is shown, the other four will be aired on Saturdays through August 30th. Local Disney Channel stars will host their country’s telecast.

Meaghan Jette Martin and Cody Linley will host the “Inside Track“, which goes behind the scenes of the games. DisneyChannel.com users can vote for their favorite players each week.

There are concert performances by Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, The Cheetah Girls, Demi Lovato and Jordan Pruitt. Miley Cyrus performs songs from her new album “Breakout” at the post-games concert.

The Comets: team captain Kevin Jonas, Moises Arias, Martin Barlan (France), Sabrina Ryan, Yi Chun (Taiwan), Selena Gomez, Andrea Guasch (Spain), Kyle Massey and Kunal Sharma.

The Cyclones: team captain David Henrie, Clara Alonso (Argentina), Jason Dolley, Joe Jonas, Brad Kavanagh, Ambra Lo Faro (Italy) Dylan Sprouse, Chelsea Staub and Jennifer Stone.

The Inferno: team captain Brenda Song, Jake T. Austin, Deniz Akdeniz (Australia), Adrienne Bailon, Rafa Baronesi (Brazil), Jason Earles, Nick Jonas, Mitchel Musso, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Jasmine Richards.

The Lighting: team captain Kiely Williams, Farez Bin Juraimi (Singapore), Roshon Fegan, Roger Gonzalez (Mexico), Shin Koyamada, Demi Lovato, Isabella Soric (Germany), Cole Sprouse and Alyson Stoner.

Saturday, August 2, the teams weave through an obstacle course while linked together, plus other games and challenges. Jonas Brothers will perform music from “A Little Bit Longer”.

Saturday, August 9, the teams much match their rival teammates to their baby pictures or face the dunking booth! Performance by Jordan Pruitt.

Saturday, August 16, the teams have a human foos ball match and the Jonas Brothers, Dylan and Cole Sprouse and The Cheetah Girls face off in a “Tug of Four” competition. At the post-games concert Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers perform.

Saturday, August 30, the teams compete in the UltraMegaUltimateObstac-tacular Relay Challenge. They will race in giant hamster balls while going through obstacles. The Disney Channel Games Closing Concert features a concert by The Cheetah Girls.

So, there you have it!! Loads of fun and lots to watch this summer.

“See You Again” is definitely one of my favorite Miley Cyrus songs. Miley performed at the 2008 Disney Channel Games concert. Thanks to Access Hollywood, we get to see part of the performance.

Miley is looking great in her all white outfit. She’s wearing a white tank, with white jeans. I can’t quite tell what shoes she is wearing. Sometimes they look black and sometimes they look white. Either way, both colors would look good with this outfit. And to top it all off, she’s wearing a long necklace and some big ‘ol earrings. This is the perfect outfit for spring and it’s very easy to put together for a night on the town with your girlfriends.

Wow how I wish I could have been at the 2008 Disney Channel Games!! It definitely looks like all of the Disney Channel stars had a blast and waiting for them to air is going to be torture.

Check out these pictures from the DC games. I love the ones from the Jonas Brothers performance at the concert. Very nice.
