Production for the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” is underway! We know that the cast (including Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers!) are in Canada practicing their dance moves for the movie. Demi has been undergoing some pretty serious training. The Disney and ABC Television group is always on the lookout for fresh and diverse talent. In an effort to find this talent, they are holding auditions for the ABC Talent Showcase.
According to Hannah Montana Casting, they are looking for people over 18, who have previous acting experience and/or training. Professional representation (an agent) is not required.

Starting in June 2009, Miley Cyrus will start filming her next movie “The Last Song”.
The movie will be filmed in Savannah, GA and is “A drama centered on a rebellious young woman who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father.”
Auditions for Disney has just posted the audition info. The open casting calls have not been announced yet, but stay tuned.
Miley’s new Disney movie has created some much needed jobs for about 250 Georgians. They won a location battle with North Carolina, which is exciting because I used to live there!

Disney announced just a couple of days ago that “High School Musical 4” is definitely happening. There are some mixed emotions about this because, as far as we know, none of the original cast will be coming back.
Now, I believe there is a possibility that Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) could make an appearance because of how High School Musical 3 ended, but that’s another story.
