February 5, 2010 by Julie Bonner

The premiere of “StarStruck” on Disney Channel is right around the corner. You can see Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Chelsea Staub and Danielle Campbell in this new DCOM on February 14th.

Here’s a sneak peek of the movie for you!

The story follows Jessica Olson (played by Campbell), a down-to-earth girl from the Midwest who collides (literally) with Hollywood’s teen heartthrob, pop star Christopher Wilder (played by Knight). They wind up on a love-struck adventure in Southern California, but their bond is tested when she returns home and he publicly denies their relationship.

Disney in Hopes for “Enchanted” Sequel

February 4, 2010 by Julie Bonner

I LOVED the first Enchanted movie and I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing a sequel, especially if they can get Amy Adams back! The folks at Variety are saying that a sequel is in the works with The Proposal’s Anne Fletcher to direct and Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld returning as directors.

“Echanted” brought in more than $340 million worldwide and as Variety said so well “Enchanted 2 fits perfectly with the studio’s plans to make more movies that define the Disney brand.”

The studio is hoping to bring back the film’s original stars, which I surely hope they do!

Cody Linley to Film His Final “Hannah Montana” Episode February 22nd

February 4, 2010 by Julie Bonner

In an interview with USA Today, Cody Linley revealed that he films his final episode of Hannah Montana on February 22nd. Season 4 of Hannah Montana premieres in July. Cody couldn’t say much at all about his episode.

I play Jake Ryan, Miley Cyrus’ on-again, off-again boyfriend on the show and for Season 4 I’m coming back for one final episode for extra drama, excitement, surprises and stuff,” he said.  “That’s about all I can say about it because I’m not allowed to say what actually happens in the episode but it’s going to be fun. Fans of the show will really respond to it. Jake and Miley have been together for a long time. It’s kind of like a final meet-up and drama happens.”

Do you think Miley and Jake will end up together in season 4 of Hannah Montana?

Amazing New Stills from “The Last Song”

February 4, 2010 by Julie Bonner

Walt Disney Pictures has released some new stills from “The Last Song”, which stars Miley Cyrus, Greg Kinnear, Liam Hemsworth and Kelly Preston. Not only do we have stills from the film itself, but also some promo pictures of Liam. If you are a Liam fan, you will love them.

It was also announced yesterday that the date for “The Last Song: has changed to March 31, 2010. That’s a couple of days earlier, which works for me!

Based on best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks’ (“A Walk to Remember,” “The Notebook”) latest novel, THE LAST SONG is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (GREG KINNEAR) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenaged daughter (MILEY CYRUS), who’d rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common—music—in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. The film is directed by Julie Anne Robinson from a screenplay by Sparks & Jeff Van Wie.

Cast: Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Bobby Coleman, Hallock Beals, Nick Lashaway, Carly Chaikin, Nick Searcy, Kate Vernon, with Kelly Preston and Greg Kinnear.

Nick Jonas Visits Jimmy Kimmel Live

February 4, 2010 by Julie Bonner

Nick Jonas has been making the talk show circuit rounds and last night (February 3) he visit Jimmy Kimmel Live. They talked about his new album, the “We are the World” remake and a lot more.

Nick also called into MuchOnDemand yesterday and one of the topics they wanted to discuss was Selena Gomez. Nick had a great answer when they asked him about his dinner with Selena.

On being at dinner with Selena Gomez: “I think when it comes to that I try to keep it a bit to myself and keep it a bit private,” he said. “We always try to find time to go out and hang out with people we enjoy spending time with and as far as that future of that relationship goes I will keep that to myself for right now.”

On if he’s going to run for President someday: “I think it’s fun. I think it started off as a joke but now I feel it’s becoming a bit more serious and starting my campaign now. It would be fun to be president. We’ll see what happens. I don’t know if it will be fun. It would be a big challenge I think.”

Justin Bieber Chats “Baby” and “We are the World” Remake

February 4, 2010 by Julie Bonner

Justin Bieber took a moment to talk with MTV about his new single “Baby” as well as what it was like being among so many music legends at the “We are the World” remake.

On his single Baby: “Well, [Ludacris and I] both live in Atlanta. I met him a year prior to this and we figured it was a perfect collaboration for him, so we invited him out to do it. It starts off, I really like this girl, but we didn’t [get] along; we couldn’t be together. Basically I want her back and [I'm] kind of going through the whole thing. I’m chasing her around, trying to get her, and she’s kind of playing hard to get, but I’m persistent. I keep going.”

On being surrounded by so many legends: “That was amazing; ‘We Are the World’ was incredible. I got to work with Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie and all the greats. Kanye was there, Lil Wayne … everybody … Barbra Streisand. It was really incredible and I had a great time. It was crazy. Barbra Streisand was on this side of me, and Celine Dion was on this side of me, and I felt like, ‘This is so big,’”
