FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20 — Radio Disney will announce the name of one lucky listener who will win the "My World" sweepstakes prize — a chance to travel to Orlando where the winner and three guests will get a chance to meet Island Def Jam pop sensation and teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, attend his Radio Disney concert and ride on an attraction with him at Walt Disney World Resort. 

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21 — Radio Disney’s Ernie D will be onboard as an excited winner, an 11-year-old girl from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and seven of her friends and family travel via private jet to Los Angeles, where a limo awaits to take them to meet Hollywood Records recording artists Selena Gomez & the Scene and watch them in concert.

Radio Disney will send a lucky 12-year-old boy from Houston, Texas, to Chicago for a chance to meet Radio Disney’s Jake Whetter and Walt Disney Records Artist and "Hannah Montana" star Mitchel Musso, get VIP seats at his concert hosted by Radio Disney Chicago AM 1300, and experience the annual Magnificent Mile Lights Festival with $500 to spend in stores on Michigan Avenue and $500 to spend at the Disney Store. 

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22 – One grand prize winner from Maple Falls, Washington, and her family will attend the "American Music Awards" live at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE, and also have the opportunity to meet "Wizards of Waverly Place" star Selena Gomez during their trip.

Radio Disney Los Angeles AM 1110 brings Disney Channel stars Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson ("Jonas") to fans and shoppers for a meet and greet during Citadel Outlets’ weekend of holiday festivities.

What’s Selena up to these days? She’s getting ready for her very first concert with her band, “Selena Gomez and The Scene”, which will be held at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA.

Also, don’t forget that today is the last day to bid on Selena’s CharityBuzz auction. You can do that here. Four VIP tickets to Selena’s concert of your choice, a backstage meet and greet, and a signed copy of her CD are up for grabs. The money raised will go towards her efforts with the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. Stay tuned for concert date announcements in early 2010!

E! Online has an article about why we can’t find any dirt on Selena Gomez and they ask the question “Is there any real dirt on Selena Gomez?” and the answer seems to be no. It’s a great article and I definitely recommend you read it.

You would think that since Selena was reportedly dating Taylor Lautner and now Taylor Swift has been seen with him, that there might be an issue between these two girls, but it seems not. It’s refreshing to have two stars like this to look up to, don’t you think?

She said, "When they said we were doing a movie, I was a little timid because I was afraid to turn our show – it’s something I’ve done for three years now – into a movie. But once I read the script, I fell in love with it and was excited to start shooting."

Selena also talked about how the movie shows a little more of the characters.

She said, "As far as the show goes, I think the film widens our characters a little bit more. I can’t believe the girl that started in the first season all the way to this movie – she’s changed completely – but she’s still her little sassy self, that’s for sure. In this one, she realizes how important her family is."

Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie aired last night in the UK.

New Line’s in final negotiations with the 17-year-old Gomez, who has built a huge fanbase from her role in the Disney Channel series, "The Wizards of Waverly Place." She formed July Moon Prods. last year and has partnered with XYZ Films to finance development of at least two films in which she would star and produce.

Wizards of Waverly Place

“Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I’ve travelled, I found such a love of clothes,” said Selena. “It’s really always been a dream of mine to have a line.”

I do love Selena’s style on Wizards. She always looks so cute! Her new line is being described as pretty, feminine and bohemian.

“She has such a good sense of what she likes and what she doesn’t like,” Melillo, creative director for the Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez line, told WWD. “It was surprising as I’ve never worked with someone so young, and never really expected her to be so smart. She has a desire to be involved, and nothing is sent out there without her approval.”

I can’t wait to see it!

Conan O’Brien opened up the interview asking Selena what she misses most about Texas, because that’s where she is originally from. She said, “I mainly miss my family, but I also miss the pickles in the movie theater.”

I just so happen to be from Texas too and yes, we do have pickles for sale at the movie theaters! YUM.

Selena’s visit was a surprise and she shocked the kids at the school, who met the star with cheers. The Disney Channel star was there to honor teacher Jessica Heim for being selected as one of OfficeMax’s “A Day Made Better” appreciation event winners. The teacher received $1,000 worth of classroom supplies.

In a recent interview with the press, Selena talked about how she can relate to each song on her new album “Kiss and Tell”, even though she didn’t write them all.

“I don’t think I have to write every song to have it be personal. I wanted to make sure, A, I can relate to it, and B, my fans can relate to it and it’s something that I went through.”

On her trip to Ghana: "I got to meet teens, I got to meet children, I got to meet families – it was completely life-changing and eye-opening, and when we came back we definitely had nothing to complain about."

On people not knowing where Ghana is: "I had people on my tour asking me where IS Ghana, and they Googled it … and because I went there, they now know where Ghana is. So it’s pretty incredible.”
