"I’ve never gotten along with someone so well," Miley tells Seventeen via People. "I was a little anxious about making this movie; I wanted everything to be perfect. To go on set and feel insecure was a totally new element for me. But he felt the same way. He admitted his insecurities, and it was really nice to have someone who understands me for once."

Miley is featured on the cover of Seventeen for their December/January issue, which is out on November 24th.

As you all know, Miley deleted her twitter account and is trying to keep her private life more to herself. This is something she told Seventeen Magazine that her and Liam had agreed on, to always keep their relationship “very D.L.”.

She told the magazine, "It sucks when your personal life becomes public. So I’m finding ways to make my personal and private life more of my life – which is one of the reasons why I deleted my Twitter. We’ve decided that any type of relationship that we have, we will always just keep it very D.L. First and foremost, we are best friends, so that’s what I tell people all the time."

In other Miley news, she has been nominated for a People’s Choice Awards in the Favorite Breakout Movie Actress and Favorite Web Celeb categories. Her Hannah Montana co-star Emily Osment has also been nominated in the Favorite Breakout Movie Actress category, so it looks like these BFFs will be going head to head.

Other Disney stars who are up for awards include Demi Lovato  for Favorite Breakout Music Artist and Zac Efron for Favorite Comedy Movie.

He asked her about twitter and said when she left, he felt like he lost a part of himself, lol. Miley said, “Did you?” She went on to say that she was one of few on twitter who didn’t use it as marketing, to ask people to buy her album, but instead used it as something positive for kids to come see.

Which, if you ask me, is a little weird since she was known as the emo twitterer and definitely wasn’t mostly positive, but it’s all good. She’s happy, twitter and her fans have recuperated from her leaving, so now we can all just move on. Right?

Miley also chatted about her movie “The Last Song”, saving Fuzzy and life after her hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana.

And last but not least…Miley talked about who she is currently crushing over: “Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl. I just saw him in The Stepfather and I’m pretty obsessed with him. I actually didn’t know who he was and I went to see the movie as a joke, because the previews looked scary but I wasn’t sure if it was scary. It was actually a good movie.”

She said, "Literally, I shot for like an hour and a half, and I was done. It was a total dream come true." Miley plays herself in the movie, where her and actress Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha, show up at an event wearing the same dress! Gotta hate that.

The Hannah Montana star went on to talk about her upcoming 17th birthday plans. She’s having a b-day on November 23rd! Miley is a huge Dolly Parton fan, which she plans to incorporate into her celebration.

She said, "I want to rent out a cool place and play all Dolly Parton music and have everyone dress up as their favorite Dolly moment. I am really excited about getting all my crew members to dress up as Dolly. That’s probably going to be the funniest thing ever."

Miley said, “There’s not really just one theme, we’ve got so much going on. It’s this whole crazy world”. She goes on to say, “Right now I just got all rigged up. This is my skirt, that’s attached to, not this outfit, but a really rad one”.

Before hitting the stage, she was interviewed by B96 Radio and she told them that the success of Party in the USA was a pleasant surprise.

Miley said, “Everything just fell into place. It was originally just for my clothing line because it’s honestly not the type of music that I’m into or sing that poppy of a song. Everyone just started picking up on it and it was a good surprise but wasn’t planned at all.”

Stephanie Cohen, editor of JSYK.com, said “I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being ‘Hannah Montana’ and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney. I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up…Parents are definitely resisting it.”

Miley also came in No. 4 for favorite female artist, behind Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

What do you think about the results of the poll?

Maybe Miley hasn’t made the best decisions all the time, but she is trying grow up in front of the world. Being 16 isn’t easy anyway, but having to be 16 in front of everyone can be tough. And like Stephanie Cohen said, Miley is trying to age up and graduate from Hannah Montana. That’s tough.

Miley said, “The reason I mostly got rid of my twitter is because I was like…that’s what I said my New Year’s resolution was…to take more time to do the things that I say I am doing to the fullest that I can. And I don’t feel like I was doing that…so I don’t really miss it. I think the greatest thing though is being able to stay connected and that’s what phones and email are phone, and you can have private conversations and  not have to worry about what other people are going to think or what other people are going to say about it.”
