“Free Style” stars HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL’s Corbin Bleu in an uplifting story about a young man and his determination to win a coveted spot on the Grand National motocross racing team.  With the support of his loving mother (Penelope Ann Miller, KINDERGARTEN COP), precocious little sister (Madison Pettis, THE GAME PLAN, SEVEN POUNDS) and new girlfriend (Sandra Echeverria, Telemundo’s MARINA), Cale proves against all odds that he has the heart, the willpower and the courage to never give up on his dream.

The last few Disney stars I have talked to (Kevin, Samantha and Lucas), I have asked them where they first started and I received the same answer from them all. It was always something small – either a small role in a movie, some print ads or a commercial here and there.

There is one show that is known for launching the careers of Disney stars such as Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Madison Pettis and other kids are hoping it will do the same for them.

They all have that purple dinosaur named Barney to thank! “Barney and Friends” has become a great place to start and train for many young stars.

Demi and Selena have shot to fame from their appearances in Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney Channel shows and they have both signed music contracts. Barney has done them some good!

Others are hoping to follow in their same footsteps.

Victoria Lennox, an 11-year-old from Flower Mound, Texas, who’s in her fourth season on the show said, “I look at them as my role model. This is going to be a great little steppingstone for me. I want to follow in their footsteps."

So, for those of you hoping to follow in the footsteps of Demi, Selena and others, just get out there and start somewhere! Audition for commercials, print ads and small roles here and there. You never know where that one small part can take you.

“High School Musical” star Corbin Bleu and “Cory in the House” cutie Madison Pettis, star together in the upcoming film “Free Style”.

I originally heard that this movie was going straight to DVD, but the Hollywood Reporter is stating that “Free Style” will be racing to a theater near you in February. I would love to see this movie in theaters, as opposed to just the DVD!

Corbin Bleu plays a young man determined to win a spot on the Grand National motocross racing team with the support of his mother (Penelope Ann Miller), little sister (Madison Pettis) and new girlfriend (Sandra Echeverria). Bleu’s real-life father, David Reivers, and 2007 U.S. Open Supercross Champion, Grant Langston, also star.

Here’s a music video “Moments That Matter” from the movie. We get to see both Corbin and Madison!

Here’s a HUGE Happy Birthday to Madison Pettis and Selena Gomez from Disney Society and its readers! Madison, who stars in Cory in the House and The Game Plan, turned 10 today. Selena, star of Wizards of Waverly Place and Princess Protection Program, is sweet sixteen.  Thanks Jess!

Madison Pettis was at the “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl” premiere on June 14th. The premiere was held at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Madison looks very cute in her summer dress and white sandals. And I love her little pose she’s doing. It’s quite a popular red carpet move and she does it well!

You might be wondering what Madison is up to these days besides starring in “Cory in the House“. Well, she plays Bailey Bryant in Corbin Bleu’s FreeStyle  and is also in Will Smith’s Seven Pounds, which is currently filming.

I just watched The Game Plan the other day for like the 5th time and she is absolutely great in that movie! I hope she has some more Disney movie plans.

Madison Pettis plays Tara in the upcoming movie “Mostly Ghostly“. It’s based on the successful book series by R.L. Stine and Max Doyle (played by Sterling Beauman) finds he has a few friends living in his house that only he can see. Ali Lohan is also in the movie and plays Traci. There is no release date set yet. It’s great to see Madison in a another movie!
