"Basically, he’s into this plain Jane chick he has an adventure with and they have a cool friendship that happens. He starts to realize lots of things about himself and it has a cool message," says Linley, who’ll start shooting in about a week.

"I’ve been singing every day. I’m recording six songs for the movie," he says. And they’ll be shooting him performing at the Sunset Strip’s Key Club.

We are not sure yet when the movie comes out, but we will let you know as soon as we find out more info! Are you excited about seeing Cody Linley in his own Disney Channel Original Movie?!

Cody was also very excited about attending the first ever D23 Expo.

"It’s going to be awesome — a huge event designed for the fans," he says of the star-filled four-day extravaganza at the Anaheim Convention Center. It sounds like a Disney-tween answer to Comic Con. "I’m going to be there for a few hours, sign some autographs, meet the fans," says the affable 19-year-old. And as far as dancing, "If there are some fans who want to dance with me, I’m always going to be breaking it out.It’s a new love for me."

Cody Linley made an appearance at the 2008 Family Entertainment Awards last weekend. Here’s a clip of Cody talking about how much he likes to play the Wii. He has four brothers, so things can get a little competitive between them.

Cody Linley was voted off of Dancing With the Stars last night. He lasted longer than a lot of critics thought he would. When given the news Cody said, “Words can’t even explain the true amazing growing journey I’ve had on the show. I can’t show my appreciation any more to Julianna. I love her so much. This opportunity has been so amazing.”

Cody did a great job and I know this experience was amazing for him. Hopefully it will help his career too. I am not sure what he has lined up. You can catch Cody on the season finale of DWTS.

Everyone’s talking about Cody and the fact that he has drinking issues and is turning into a party animal.

Supposedly Cody partied it up last weekend and had too much to drink. He then puked in front of several people and was whisked away. That’s what someone told the NY Daily News.

Idk, what do you think? Is this story for real?

On a more positive note, Cody is still doing well on ‘Dancing With the Stars’, although critics are saying that it’s a long shot for him to win. He does have a big fan base that would love to see him take the title.
