“Up” Review – Marvelous Movie!

Yesterday afternoon (May 29), I went and saw “Up” in 3D. I knew I was going to like this film from all of the previews I saw, but I had no idea what a heart warming, phenomenal movie this was going to be.
The critics reviews have been through the roof and now I know why! Even Rotten Tomatoes, who doesn’t seem to like and movie, has “Up” at a98%, saying “Another masterful work of art from Pixar, Up is an exciting, hilarious, and heartfelt adventure impeccably crafted and told with wit and depth.”

Movie Monday: Early Reviews of Disney/Pixar’s “Up”

Saturday (May 16) was the World Premiere of Disney/Pixar’s “Up” and a few Disney stars came out to celebrate. Stars such as Jennifer Stone, David Henrie, Brenda Song and Debby Ryan walked the green carpet and previewed the movie before it comes to theaters on May 29th.

Jennifer Stone Attends “Up” World Premiere

Jennifer Stone joined some of her Disney friends and attended the World Premiere of “Up” on Saturday 9May 16). The premiere was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA and a green carpet was laid for the stars to show off their outfit choices.
The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star wore a tie-dye dress. You can get the same dress from Intuition for around $50. What do you think of the dress?

Debby Ryan Poses in Purple at the Premiere of “Up”

Debby Ryan poses for the green carpet sporting a side braid in her hair at the World Premiere of “Up”. The premiere took place at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Ca on Saturday (May 16).
Debby celebrated her Sweet Sixteenth Birthday on May 13th and before she could announce it on twitter, she had fans already saying “Happy Birthday!”.

Brenda Song looked gorgeous as always at the World Premiere of “Up”, which was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday (May 16). Her outfit is an off the shoulder blue short set, which is perfect for summer.

David Henrie Attends “Up” Premiere

“Wizards of Waverly Place” star David Henrie attended the World Premiere of “Up”. The premiere was held at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles on Saturday, May 16th.

He attended the event with his brother Lorenzo. David was looking mighty handsome at the premiere no?
As most of you probably know, David does have an official twitter and he’s pretty active on it. He usually post pictures and sometimes interacts with his fans.
There was a glitch on twitter, which made it look like he doubled his follower count in 2 minutes. Sadly, it went back to 100,000.

“Up” Premieres at Cannes Film Festival

Disney/Pixar’s “Up” made it’s red carpet premiere at the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 13). There was a photocall the same day with some of the films creators, directors and stars. Check out this great shot in front of a huge amount of balloons.
“Up” is receiving some excellent early reviews, which I will post in a few minutes, along with some new stills. The house and the balloons were supposed to float up, but they had a couple of issues.

Disney Movie Surfers Go Up, Up and Away

The Disney/Pixar film “UP” is coming to theaters on May 29, 2009. The Disney Movie Surfers went up in a hot air balloon with the Steve May, the technical director on the movie.
Steve was asked, “What exactly does a supervising technical director do?”
He said, “I get to work with all of the great artists at Pixar who made the images you see on the screen”.
He then goes on to tell us a little more about the film, including the two characters Carl and Russell.
Disney/Pixar’s “UP” Flight Test

The Disney/Pixar film “UP” is coming to theaters on May 29, 2009. I am so excited about this film because it’s in 3D, it looks hilarious and it’s such an original idea for a movie.
During the premiere of “Hatching Pete” tonight on the Disney Channel, Disney will show us a little flight test, as well as a sneak peek of the film. So, don’t forget to watch for it tonight!
