Jemma McKenzie-Brown at Shopaholic Premiere
February 17, 2009 by Julie Bonner
“High School Musical 3” star Jemma McKenzie-Brown attended the UK premiere of “Confessions of a Shopaholic”. Check out her shiny dress and black nails!
Jemma played Sharpay’s assistant in HSM3 and quite awhile ago I ask you all if you thought she could carry on the Sharpay-like role in a “High School Musical 4”. I thought the poll results were interesting. Check them out here.
HSM4 will be a television movie like the first two HSMs. Do you think it’ll be a success? I have my doubts! +1 picture under.
Olesya Rulin Talks About Her HSM Character
February 5, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Newsround had the chance to speak to Olesya Rulin, who plays Kelsi Nielsen in the High School Musical movies. They chatted about how her and her character are alike, her favorite HSM song, if she’s in High School Musical 4 and more!
Here are a few excerpts:
Newsround: You’ve been in all three high school musicals so far. Which one did you enjoy being in the most?
Olesya: In the first one your getting you’re bearings and figuring out how things work. We’ve had the same crew for three-and-a-half years, so it became a really tight family. By the end of the third one it was like a summer camp. So probably the third one was my favourite.
Newsround: What’s your fave song so far?
Olesya: I really like Humuhumunukunukuapua’a from the second film and Scream from High School Musical 3.
Newsround: Apparently there is a script for High School Musical 4? Do you have a role in that too?
Olesya: Kelsie has graduated, she’s gone from high school - she’s in Juilliard already.

Audition Info for “High School Musical 4”
January 13, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Now that the original “High School Musical” cast is moving on from the franchise, we have all been wondering if a “High School Musical 4” would actually happen. The newbies – Jemma McKenzie Brown, Matt Prokop and Justin Martin – are the one who are supposed to carry on the franchise and make another movie. Some of you are skeptical (see this post and this post) if they can do so and make the movie a success.
Well, according to Acting Info, auditions and open casting calls for “High School Musical 4” will be happening, which means, so is the movie. It will be interesting to see how this movie does. I imagine they will make it a Disney Channel Original Movie, instead of releasing it in the theaters, but who knows!

Can Matt Prokop Carry the Lead Role in ‘High School Musical 4′?
October 31, 2008 by Julie Bonner
Matt Prokop has made his big screen debut in “High School Musical 3″. Kenny Ortega brought in 3 newbies, who most likely are there to carry on the HSM franchise.
So now that you have seen Prokop in action, do you think he has what it takes to step in and be the lead role in a new High School Musical film? I thought his most brilliant scene in the whole movie was when he took over Troy’s spot in the musical and sang with Sharpay. Classic scene!
Let me know what you think of Matt Prokop by voting in the poll below and also add your comments on this post. I’ll do a poll for the other two newbies in a couple of days.
The picture above is from the Guitar Hero World Tour VIP Launch Event held at Best Buy in Los Angeles, California on October 25, 2008. One more picture of Matt Prokop below.
