The Film Review has a list of “The Ten Most Expensive Movies Ever Made”. Three Disney films made the cut.

C0ming in at number 6 was “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”, which was made in 2008 and cost $200 million. Director Andrew Adamson shot the film in New Zealand, Prague, Slovenia and Poland, which definitely helped add to the costs of production. It had a gross revenue of $420 million, so I don’t think there were too many complaints.

Coming in at number at number 3 was “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest”, which was made in 2006. It cost $225 million to bring Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom back for the sequel.It raked in over $1 billion at the box office. Not bad, not bad at all.

Coming in at number one was “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, which was filmed in 2007. This was the final installment of the Disney trilogy and cost $300 million. The critics were hard on the film, but it won ‘Best Movie’ at the People’s Choice Awards and brought in a gross revenue of $1 billion.

What will Disney do next to top these three films?

There’s a new trailer out for Disney’s upcoming film Ponyo.

The beginning is very similar to the first trailer, but starting around 50 seconds you see them name all the voices in the film, including Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas!

The film follows a young and overeager goldfish named Ponyo decides to leave her underwater world behind after making friends with a five-year-old boy who lives in a small coastal village.

Ponyo comes to the big screen as imagined by legendary Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki, whose credits include films Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle.

Ponyo hits the big screen on August 14, 2009.

I have some amazing pictures to share with you from Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”. The film will be released in theaters on March 5, 2010 and there is a lot of buzz surrounding this movie. You’ll see why when you take a look at some of the cast pictures and concept art. They are phenomenal!

“Alice in Wonderland” is about the adventures of a young girl, Alice, who falls into a magical world full of strange characters and darkness behind every corner. Mia Wasikowska plays Alice. Here’s a picture of her from the film.

The amazing and talented (and one of my favorite actors) Johnny Depp plays the Mad Hatter. His talent to play a character amazes me after each film I see him in. Here’s Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

The trailer for the upcoming Walt Disney film “Ponyo” is out. As I mentioned before, Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas have teamed up on this film. Watch the clip and tell me what you think!

Nicholas Sparks, who is known for writing some tear jerking books like The Notebook and Nights at Rodanthe, has said he wrote The Last Song with Miley Cyrus in mind. His books are often made into movies and The Notebook is one of my all-time favorites.

The book version of The Last Song, will hit stores this fall, just a short few months before the movie is slated for the big screen on January 8, 2010.

Miley will play “a rebellious teen sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. He tries to reconnect with her through the one thing they have in common: music.” Greg Kinnear will play the estranged father and Kelly Preston is set to play the mother.

Also, did you know that Tish Cyrus is the executive producer for the film? It’s a family affair!

From all of the pictures we have seen of Miley lately on set, it definitely looks like this is one romantic Disney drama.

Miley Cyrus has been busy filming her new Walt Disney movie “The Last Song” in Savannah, GA. She’s also been super busy tweeting while there. Miley tweeted yesterday “ Hey everyone! Say hello to my new “bff” Liam!!!” and posted this picture. Sounds like her and co-star Liam Hemsworth are getting along great.

Miley was also photographed quite a bit yesterday (June 19) while filming some scenes on the beach. Check out this cute picture of the “Hannah Montana” star.

When will we get to see this movie in theaters? Not until January 8, 2010. Until then, we will just have to enjoy the pictures and any news that leaks out about the movie. I am looking forward to seeing Miley ins omething that’s completely not related to Hannah Montana.

Did you know that a Jonas and a Cyrus have teamed up on a project? Who is is…what is it? Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas are voice actors in the animated movie, “Ponyo,” which is by “Spirited Away” director Hayao Miyazaki.

In Ponyo, a young and overeager goldfish named Ponyo decides to leave her underwater world behind after making friends with a five-year-old boy who lives in a small coastal village. Noah Cyrus told the Press Association, “I actually have a movie coming out call ‘Ponyo’. I play a goldfish in it, and I wanna be a human in it, and my best friend is a human, and I think that’s where I get it from, and then I turn into a human. The guy who plays my best friend in it is Frankie Jonas, the Jonas Brothers’ little brother.”

“Ponyo” will be released on August 14, 2009 and also includes Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Cloris Leachman, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin and Betty White as voice actors.

Miley Cyrus has been in Savannah, Georgia filming her newest movie “The Last Song”. Filming officially started a couple of days ago and that means we have pictures from the set! Check out this picture of Miley kissing co-star Liam Hemsworth.

Miley and Liam were hard at work yesterday (June 17) 0n the set and were pictured coming out of their trailers. Who else is in this film? It’s not just Miley and Liam! There are a couple of others who’s names you may recognize.

Greg Kinear and Kelly Preston play Miley’s parents in “The Last Song”. Miley plays a teen who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. I am really forward to seeing Miley in something other than Hannah Montana related stuff. I think we just might get to see what this girl is made of when it comes to acting. What do you think?! “G-Force” premieres in theaters on July 24th and is about a specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire from taking over the world.  I saw a preview (in 3D) during “Up” and this movie just looks hilarious!

Disney has released some new art for the film and I thought it would be fun to meet the “G-Force” guinea pigs.

First up, meet Juarez.

“The Last Song” is a drama centered on a rebellious young woman who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. Liam plays a successful beahc volleyball player who has his dreams set on the Ivy League.
