David Henrie recently chatted about the plot line, saying, “Alex gets in a fight with her parents while the whole family is on vacation. She casts a temporary forbidden spell that wishes the parents never met and they don’t remember each other. Our goal is to get the parents back together. We search these ancient ruins for the stone of dreams which can make one wish happen. We go on a big adventure and there is a big twist at the end.”

As part of the “Princess Protection Program” weekend, a brand new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place” will air. Here’s a preview:

In “Paint By Committee”, Alex is selected to paint the school’s mural, which she is very excited about. However, after using magic to make the mural, she ends up messing up her own artistic ideas.

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato will host three evenings dedicated to their new Disney Channel Original Movie “Princess Protection Program”.

The premiere weekend will include a sneak peek at several upcoming events – a one-hour episode of “Hannah Montana;” a triple crossover episode entitled “Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana;” the Disney Channel Original Movie “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie;” and an exclusive first-look at the highly-anticipated Walt Disney Pictures animated movie, “The Princess and the Frog.”

Selena Gomez was all smiles as she left her hotel this morning in New York with her cousin Priscilla DeLeon. The Disney starlet was headed to “Live with Regis and Kelly” to promote her Disney Channel series “Wizards of Waverly Place”.

Selena is looking absolutely gorgeous with her new short hair do, which she said she cut because she needed a change. Good for her!

On Wednesday, you can see the very first trailer for the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Wizards of Waverly Place: Stone of Dreams”. You can see the promo for Wednesday’s Mega Monster Mash and there’s a very short peek at the movie.

Here are the episode descriptions. Are you excited?

8:00 - 8:30 p.m. ET/PT — “Cast-Away (To Another Show)” – Justin is excited to meet London Tipton when he wins the essay contest prize, a cruise on the SS Tipton. Alex and Max get to go aboard too, where Alex bonds with new BFF Bailey, but soon gets in hot water when she uses magic to bring Harper aboard. Meanwhile, Max and Zack compete in a series of outrageous challenges.

8:30 - 9:00 p.m. ET/PT — “Double-Crossed”– Hannah Montana boards the SS Tipton on her way to a concert performance in Honolulu. To impress Bailey, Cody enlists Woody to help him get tickets. Meanwhile, the Russos use a little magic to spice up their vacation – Alex pulls a prank on Justin, for which Mr. Moseby blames Zack, while Max introduces London to a magical suitcase.

You can head on over to DisneyChannel.com to find a list of scavenger hunt items, and then tune in to Disney Channel every night at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT beginning Sunday, July 12 through Friday, July 17 to identify them. After answering scavenger hunt questions correctly, users can register for a chance to win the grand prize.

I love the cross-over episodes and can’t wait to see this one. The scavenger hunt also sounds pretty cool. Which prize would you want if you won?

This Friday, May 29th, is a brand new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place”. Here’s a sneak peek for you.

In “My Tutor, Tutor", Jerry hires a tutor named Tutor to help Max pass a test at school. After both Alex and Justin bond with her, they devise a plan to provide her full time work but it involves Max failing his test.

WOWP star Selena Gomez was in California for a couple of days, but she is now headed back to Vancouver to continue working on her film “Ramona and Beezus”. According to her twitter, she loves Vacnouver. She tweeted, “’Low battery’ says my blackberry. I guess ill let it rest. Airport.. back to my 2nd favorite place in the world. Vancouver. Goodnight.”
