On Sunday (June 28), a brand new episode of “JONAS” airs. Here’s a sneak peek:

In “That Ding You Do”, being famous makes it tough for Joe after he meets a pretty young lady who despises celebrities. Macy and Stella compete to see who can go the longest without participating in their favorite activity.

This new episode is part of the “Princess Protection Program” premiere weekend. This is going to be one fantastic weekend of Disney Channel TV! We have new episodes of JONAS, Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana, as well as sneak peeks of what’s to come! Check out the weekend festivities here.

There is some exciting news out today for Disney Channel fans in the UK. First off, Disney UK has picked up the series “JONAS”! Starting in September, “JONAS” will begin airing and fans can see Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas try to lead normal lives in the New Jersey home they share with their parents and younger brother Frankie.

It was also announced that Disney XD will replace Jetix soon! The brand reaches boys ages 6 to 14, including live action movies, animated shows and sports coverage developed in collaboration with the Disney-owned ESPN.

General manager for Disney Channels UK & Ireland Boel Ferguson said, “The exclusive new content will appeal to a broader target audience, while the Disney branding will create awareness and value. Disney XD will capitalise on all of the assets across the company to make it the leading boy-focused entertainment platform in the UK and around the world.”

On June 7th, a brand new episode of “JONAS” airs called “Band’s Best Friend”. It’s about an old childhood pal visits, but the guys soon learn that he wants to use their fame to his own advantage. Meanwhile, Macy buys a potato chip that resembles Joe.

“JONAS” was the number one show on Tuesday, among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.The show towered over its biggest competition, Nickelodeon, by double digits. It’s also doing well among boys 6-11 and hit a series high with this age group.

Nicole Anderson is known for playing Macy, the crazed fan, on the new Disney Channel series “JONAS”. Season 1 has wrapped up, so now what does she do? She has landed herself a role on the ABC Family show called “Make it or Break It”.

She updated her MySpace page to let us know what’s been going on with her. Here’s an excerpt:

This Friday I’m going to start working on a new ABC Family show called Make It or Break It. It’s about gymnastics, so I was freaking out when I got the role because I was a competitive gymnast for ten years! I’m going to be playing an extremely competitive and obnoxiously mean girl named Kelly Parker. She’s the reining National champion and a rival to the main characters on the show. I’ll be appearing in two episodes. And then a day after I wrap on that project, I’ll be flying to New Orleans!!!

This Sunday (May 17) starting @ 7:30/6:30 c is Disney Channel’s Sunday night of Premieres! We get to see brand new episodes of JONAS, Sonny with a Chance and Hannah Montana.

JONAS is airing on a special night. Three shows, three brand new episodes! It’s going to be a fun night for Disney Channel fans.

On the next episode of “JONAS” - Kevin, Joe and Nick vie for the attention of the pizza delivery girl and compete to win her heart. You can see “Slice of Life” on the Disney Channel Saturday, May 16th.

A new episode of JONAS, “Groovy Movies”, airs tonight (May 9) @ 8:00-8:30 p.m., ET/PT on the Disney Channel. In this episode Kevin, Joe and Nick accidentally destroy their family’s home movies, to their mother’s horror, so they enlist Stella’s help to recreate scenes from their childhood.

In “Groovy Movies” we get to see some of the Jonas Brothers’ real home movies. That should be fun! I love the part in the clip below where Nick says, “Did you have to go to the bathroom or something?” I think this will be a great episode for Jonas fans.
