“This month friends everywhere are going to take action to save energy and reduce pollution,” Demi says.

“Here’s how we get started. Switch it, cool it, and unplug it!” Nick continues.

They encourage you to switch off the lights when you leave a room, carpool it to school, and unplug cell phone chargers and other appliances when not in use.

]]> gary-barlow So, how does a British version of High School Musical sound to all of you HSM fans out there? Reports are saying that Gary Barlow is creating a number of tracks for a TV show called Britannia High, which will be a British version of HSM.

Anyone in London interested in auditioning for Britannia High? Here’s the audition info:

Casting for the drama series which is set in a performing arts school is due to take place through a real-life casting process, which will be broadcast on the station before the series starts.

Youngsters between the ages of 16 and 18 who can sing dance and act can audition for roles on January 12 and 13 at the London Welsh Centre.

You gotta hurry! Filming should start in June.
