Wizards of Waverly Place cutie Jennifer Stone is set to star as Harriet Welsch in Disney Channel’s “Harriet the Spy”! I am so excited for Jennifer. She is such an amazing actress and deserves a lead role like this. We had the chance to chat with her back in March and she is so nice and funny.
The live action TV movie is set to air sometime next year.

Shine On Media caught up with Meaghan Martin, who stars in “10 Things I Hate About You” and “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam”, at the Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times 17th Annual Halloween Carnival on Sunday (October 25). They asked her about charity work, “10 Thing” and of course… “Camp Rock 2”!

In an interview with MSN UK, Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez revealed that she had a few doubts about “Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie”.

We mentioned last week that Cody Linley (Hannah Montana’s Jake Ryan) would be starring in a new Disney Channel Original Movie entitled “Starstruck”, but now it looks like that information was wrong! According to a press release released by Disney, the movie will star Sterling Knight!
(Update: Disney sources have told us that Cody Linley was replaced by Sterling Knight because of scheduling issues. Cody will be taking to the stage in a Broadway play called “Over Here”. Congrats Cody!!)
