On June 2nd, Disney announced the launch of U Rock 2, a promotion that gives YOU the opportunity to create your own music videos set to popular Disney artists songs. You can then post your original videos on the U Rock site (www.Disney.com/URock). The most popular U Rock video finalists, voted on by fans, will win the ultimate rock star experience including a trip to Los Angeles, an in-studio “take over” at Radio Disney, a visit to the set of a Disney Channel show, and more.

Sounds cool huh?

Well, you better hurry if you haven’t entered because they are only accepting videos until July 12th!! The finalists will be announced on July 17th and you can vote on your top pick until July 31st.

Song selections that can be downloaded from the U Rock 2 site include:
· “One And The Same” by Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez from the Disney Channel Playlist CD, with exclusive music video available on the Princess Protection Program DVD
· “Paranoid“ by Jonas Brothers from their upcoming album “Lies, Vines and Trying Times”
· “Hey” by Mitchel Musso from his self-titled album “Mitchel Musso”
· “Ready to Rock” by Steve Rushton featured in the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures’ film“G-Force”

Some of the voting categories included are “Rock of Fame”, “Tricked Out”, ”Sweet Groove All Star”, “Mega Pipes” and “Aww…some!

Starz on Demand is hosting a Disney Celebration Vacation Contest. On June 12th, they premiere “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” and to highlight this special event they are running a special contest.

Their “Watch to Win” Sweepstakes is giving one lucky viewer and three guests a chance to win a Disney Celebration Vacation and spend a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida! Awesome!

The Cheesacake Factory has a great contest going and in celebration of that, Disney Society is giving away one $25 gift card to their restaurant!

If you haven’t been to The Cheesecake Factory then you are completely missing out! It is one of my favorite restaurants for their great food and fantastic atmosphere to enjoy along with your meal.

You can visit their official website to see the menu, locations, catering and shopping.
