Last night (June 12), Selena Gomez attended the 2009 Crystal and Lucy Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotelin Century City, California. She wore a classic black dress with a string of pearls and wore her new ‘do  in a curly style.

It’s obvious Selena was happy to be there since she tweeted after the event, “Tonight was truly an honor. Amazing”

In other Selena news, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star is teaming up with Sears to find “America’s Next Air Band.” Four band members will be selected to be part of the Sears air band and appear in their own air band music video with Selena Gomez. The Sears air band will also play a live concert later this summer.

You can head on over to www.Arrivelounge.com and vote for the contenders, as well as name the band, design the band logo and choose what kind of music they will play. If Sears chooses your logo and name, you could get a a wardrobe makeover, among other prizes.

The Jonas Brothers performed on “Good Morning America” today (June 12) to hundreds of screaming fans as part of the summer concert series. A little rain didn’t even dampen the fans spirits. They were singing right along and having a great time.

This GMA performance comes just a few days before the release of their brand new album Lines, Vines and Trying Timeswhich comes out on June 16th! With the release of their album, Kevin, Joe and Nick have been extremely busy. They were on David Letterman last night, they performed a free concert in NYC last night, the Disney Channel has made June 16th Jonas Day and they are getting geared up to kick off their 2009 Summer World Tour. Whew!

There were Disney stars galore at the “A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival” event on Sunday (June 7). “JONAS” star Chelsea Staub was there and as usual, she looked amazing!

Chelsea had a busy day Sunday because she attended not one, but two events! After the Heroes benefit, she attended the Hollywood Life’s 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards which were held at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage.

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star wore a cute blue jumper and you have to check out her shoes (pictured below). They almost remind me of something Harper on Wizards might wear.

When I had the chance to interview Jennifer, I asked her how her and her character Harper were alike and how were they different. She said, “Harper and I are a like in the fact that we both get super excited over things that sometimes other people don’t quite get. We’re different in that I am a bit more low key than Harper. Harper is a bit tightly wound.”

I also asked her if Harper had one magical power, what would it be. I bet you can guess this one! She said, “I know Harper would like it to be instant outfit abilities. You know she gets tired making all of those intricate themed ensembles. lol”

“Wizards of Waverly Place” hottie David Henrie attended the “A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival” held at the Wadsworth Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday(June 7). The event was hosted by Disney and benefits the the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which will have raised around $1 million dollars from this event.

David went and saw  the new movie “The Hangover” and tweeted, “Hangover!!!! I died so So so so funny. Havnt belly laughed in a while.”

“The Suite Life on Deck” star Debby Ryan attended the Annual City of Hope Pediatric Picnic at at the Live Steamers, Griffith Park, California on Saturday (June 6). She signed autographs and posed for pictures with the kids.

Kids of all ages and their families enjoyed a day of fun, food, games, music, magic, and train rides. The Los Angeles Live Steamers are a club of scaled miniature trains that have been around for over 45 years and who give free train rides to kids every Sunday.

Emily Osment attended the A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival held at the Wadsworth Theatre in Los Angeles onb Sunday, June 7th. She tweeted while at the event saying, “At Elizabeth Glasers Pediatric Aids Foundation on this beautiful Sunday.”

Emily was able to see her “Hannah Montana” co-star and BFF Miley Cyrus at the event. They just finished filming the last episode for season 3 and now will have several months apart before they start on season 4. Miley will be in Georgia for the summer, so I am sure they will miss each other!

Selena was wearing a light-weight tank top, a pair of skinny jeans rolled up and some summer sandals. The event was hosted by Disney and benefited the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. They will have raised around $1 million from the event,which is great!

Popstar! asked her which charities are close to her heart. Selena said, “The one that is closest right now is probably IslandDog.org. I’m doing a lot of stuff with that and I’m hoping we can continue to be a part of that.”

When asked about her romantic situation, Selena had a little smirk on her face and said that right now she is just going to “focus on work and what I’m doing…and not my lovelife!”

On Sunday, June 7th, Miley Cyrus attended the “A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival” held at the Wadsworth Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. She looked beautiful in a silver mini with black boots and silver chained necklaces.

The event was sponsored by Disney and benefited the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Miley performed at the event, singing hit songs such as “Fly on the Wall”.

Popstar! was at the event and interviewed Miley on the red carpet. They asked her if she could read anyone’s diary, who’s would it be. Who’s diary would she read?

Miley said, “If I could read anyone’s diary, it would have to be Johnny Depp’s diary because he probably talks about movies he’s gonna do and then I could sneak in there and beg him to let me be in one”.

Johnny Depp’s diary would no doubt be a good read!
