Cody Linley is Very Excited About Going to Broadway

It was back in September that we learned Cody Linley snagged the lead role in an upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Starstruck”. He even talked about how excited he was about it at the D23 Expo.

A few short days later, we heard that production on the movie had already started and that Sterling Knight had the lead role. We were slightly confuzzled! It was later revealed that Cody had to give up the movie due to a scheduling conflict. What was his conflict? Broadway of course!

The Hannah Montana star is taking to the stage in a remake of Over Here! The show hoped to open early next year.

A rep for Cody said, "The start dates on both kept shifting and Over Here! was contractually in first position, so he had to give up Starstruck”. The rep continued to say, "Cody is very so excited about going to Broadway”.

Well, we are excited for Cody as well! Broadway is a big deal. Stay tuned for more information about the show.
