“Songs to Celebrate 25 Days of Christmas” CD Review

I am usually not one to listen to Christmas music before November, but getting to review this great CD gave me an excuse to get in the holiday spirit a little early this year! Walt Disney Records released Songs To Celebrate 25 Days Of Christmas on November 3rd. The CD features 16 songs from ABC Family’s annual holiday programming event.

The line-up features songs from network’s new original movie “Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe”, with performances from Alexa Vega and Amber Stevens from “Greek”. It also includes tracks from artists such as Hilary Duff, Brian Setzer Orcehstra and classics from Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Fred Astaire and more.

I absolutely love this CD and to be honest, I am pretty picky when it comes to my Christmas music. I have bought and received from pretty boring CD’s ion the past! I am trying to pick my favorite song, but I just can’t. It has such a great mixture of new songs, from new artists with the classics from.

If you are looking for a fun CD to get you in the holiday spirit, I highly recommend this one. Also, running from December 1-25, ABC Family’s “25 Days Of Christmas” programming event will include its annual “Harry Potter” weekend, Disney/Pixar’s “Ratatouille” and “The Incredibles,” the basic cable premiere of “Santa Clause 3” and “Unaccompanied Minors,” animated Christmas tales starring Mickey Mouse and other beloved Disney characters, and so much more.

And don’t forget that premiering on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd, Walt Disney Pictures presents “Pixar Short Films” and the new movie “Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe”, starring the hilarious Jenny McCarthy, Dean McDermott and Paul Sorvino. Can’t wait for that!
