Disney Book Group Announces New Series By Best Selling Author

The Disney Book Group announced the release of a new series by best selling author Rick Riordan, who is known for Percy Jackson & the Olympians series (pictured to the left). The Kane Chronicles is “a new fantasy bringing ancient Egyptian mythology to life in a vivid modern-day setting.” The first book, a new fantasy bringing ancient Egyptian mythology to life in a vivid modern-day setting.

Along with the release of the first  book, The Kane Chronicles, Book One: The Red Pyramid they will also be releasing the audio edition.

Synopsis:

When a magical accident unleashes the Egyptian gods on the modern world, siblings Carter and Sadie Kane discover that they are the only ones who can put things right. As descendants of the greatest Egyptian magicians, they must find a way to defeat the evil god Set before he can destroy them.
