Demi Lovato Records Camp Rock 2 Songs with Kara DioGuardi

What was Demi Lovato up to yesterday? Recording some songs for “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam”…that’s what! The “Sonny with a Chance” star revealed on twitter yesterday that she was recording some songs for the sequel with American Idol judge Kara DioGaurdi.
She tweeted, “Recording Camp Rock 2 songs with Kara DioGuardi!! Having serious dejja vu…. Haha”
Why was she having some serious dejavu? Because she has recorded for Camp Rock with Kara before, as well as other songs. Demi tweeted, “Fun Fact: Kara wrote Camp Rock’s "We Rock" and my song "The Middle". And we co-wrote "Believe in Me" together. Psshh… I knew her butt …”.
Production for “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” begins this summer and the Disney Channel has plans to release the movie sometime in 2010. Stars from the first “Camp Rock”, such as Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Alyson Stoner, Meaghan Jette Martin and Maria Canals-Barrera, will be returning for the second one. Also joining the film is hip hop artist Matthew “Mdot” Finley and Chloe Bridges, a 17-year-old classical pianist.
The characters will discover that some of the campers have ditched Camp Rock for a rival camp next door called Camp Star.
