Matt Prokop Joins Brendan Fraser in Family Comedy “Furry Vengeance”

Matt Prokop may have been told he would not be asked back for “High School Musical 4″, but that didn’t stop him from going after roles elsewhere! According to the Hollywood Reporter, Matt has landed a role in a family comedy with Brendan Fraser called “Furry Vengeance”.

Matt will play “a sarcastic city kid transplanted to the country after his father moves them there to build a housing subdivision” and “the two do battle with local wildlife fed up with intrusions into their Oregon wilderness.”

Filming is scheduled to begin July 6 for a potential July 2010 release.

Other roles Matt has been in include “High School Musical 3″, “The Office” and “Hannah Montana”. He’s also rumored to be in the comedy “Cougar Hunting” as Tyler.
