“Playlist for Your Soul” Contest – Win a $25 Gas Card!
February 4, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Do you like my new car? Okay, it’s not really MY car, but I wish it was!! It’s the new Kia Soul and it is one sweet car. I could definitely see myself scooting around town in this baby.
Here are a few tidbits about the Kia Soul:
- It’s available in four trims: Soul, Soul+, Soul! and Soul sport.
- The Soul+ includes standard keyless entry remote, solar glass and 16-inch alloy wheels.
- The Soul! adds the power moonroof, fog lights and 18-inch alloy wheels.
- The Soul sport, designed for those with active lifestyles, will include side sills, a rear spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels and unique front and rear fascias.
So, why am I telling you about this car? For two reasons. The first reason is, Kia is running a very cool contest. The second reason is, I am running a very cool contest.
Let me tell you about Kia’s first.
All the info you need is below!
Kia is running a promotion called “Playlist for Your Soul”. All you have to do is head on over to their site: http://www.foryoursoulpromo.com, and fill out an entry form with a link to your playlist. It’s just a list of your favorite songs. Once they receive your list, they’ll add it to the rest for everyone to check out. Everyone can vote on your list (hint: get your friends, family, pets in on the fun and have them vote for you!). You can submit as many playlist as you’d like.
A winner will be picked at random among the top 50. What do you win? A trip for two to the attend the music festival (South-by-Southwest), March 19th to March 22nd 2009 in Austin, Texas where he/she will get to attend the BPM Magazine Playlist Battle and compete live with top DJs. (I’m from Austin, TX. Yes, it’s awesome.) You can enter here.
You can also check out their FaceBook page here.
I bet you would like to know how you could win one of these $25 gas cards I am giving away! I am doing my own version of the “Playlist for Your Soul” contest. Here’s what you need to do:
- Submit a playlist of 5-10 of your favorite songs in the comment section below. Or, you can email them to me at julie at b5media.com.
- On February 10th, I’ll pick (and post) the three playlist I like the most and have Disney Society readers vote on their favorite. The two top playlists will each win a $25 gas card.
I am really looking forward to seeing what you guys listen to. Just pull a few songs from that iPod of yours.
Good luck!
