The ratings are in for the Disney Channel Premiere of “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert Movie“. It was Saturday’s number one show in total viewers for ages 6 - 14. It was easily Saturday’s top watched show raking in 5.9 million viewers! Sweet!
We watched it at my house with our 3D glasses on and had a great time. It was better in the theater, but it was good to see it again. Don’t forget that the DVD comes out on August 19th!

I’m glad you liked the concert, Julie, and I’m glas that Disney has helped to introduce so many Americans to 3D entertainment by giving away millions of glasses.
I hope at least some portion of those who liked the show will keep the glasses and seek out more 3D videos, games, art, and photos online. There is a wealth of good stuff out there. (My site, Swell3D, is a good place to start.) Could you help spread the word?

i liked the concert but i think if you just stop and listen to a hannah montana song and then listen to a miley song there is a big difference. miley did a great job with her vocals in that concert but sometimes i think she is pushing her voice to far (not in the 3D concert). like if she sings “7 things” live when she sings the chorus she shouts the lyrics. i understand that sometimes when you yell in singing its called belting but she doesnt belt. one person that knows how to belt is Christina Aguilera. if you compare Christina’s belting to miley’s “belting” you can tell that miley is just shouting. i think the best performance that miley has done of 7 things where she doesnt shout was the recent concert on Good Morning America. i think she did her best on that one. i also think that mileys new album fits her voice better. thats why it sounds good when she sings her new songs because those songs are in her voice range. i think her letting go of the hannah image is both good and bad. good because she’s singing songs that are in her voice range and that attract a whole new audience. bad because she’s gonna losse alot of her younger audience (ages 2-10) and that younger audience really wont understand what the whole miley thing is about. but i think it is time for miley to let go of Hannah Montana. i personally think she could do much better without hannah. she is the most popular teen right now and i think she would do great and acomplish even more without hannah. hannah montana was just holding her back because she could only sing certain songs. i LOVE her new album and i think the songs are great!!
