Rolling Stone Writer Sees “Something” Between Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez

So, we have all heard the rumors that Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez are dating and they have both been asked about it and haven’t admitted a thing.
At the end of the Rolling Stone article, where the Jonas Brothers are featured, the writer seems to mention that he noticed something going on between the two. There is also a blurry picture of them taken backstage where they are supposedly being affectionate and hugging one another. You can see the picture here.
Here’s a snippet from the article where he talks about Nick and Selena:
“It’s a picture of Nick, Joe, Kevin and, yes, a beautiful young brunette in a scarlet-red top. Nick has his arm around the girl’s back and the girl’s arm is wrapped around his. Her name is Selena Gomez, she’s Demi Lovato’s best friend and a big new Disney Channel star. The genuine affection in the photo is obvious.”
Couldn’t it be that they are just really good friends? Any thoughts from you all? 
Update: Selena has denied that she is dating Nick. She told Extra on Wednesday, “The Jonas Brothers are all sweet. They’re so amazing to me. They’ve become really good friends of mine, but I’m not dating any of them.”

even though i ABSOLUTLY LOVE LOVE LOVE NICK i think he and whoever he dates needs some privacy…nick already said in an interview that he wouldnt tell the public if he was going out with anyone anyway….so you probably wont get any info out of him or selena…so i feel we should give them a break ( especially nick considering the fact that he is on tour and has a bajillion other things going on)
oh my god. that picture of them on the cover of RollingStone is breathtaking lol
i think people should mind their own business. who cares if selena and nick are dating. its their life. let them live it.

Hey, Selena will probably do a video on popstar magazine’s youtube, trying to say that she and nick aren’t dating, just like what demi did with joe (they were probably both lying). Anyway, i read an article in a mag, (the article was dated 2 days ago) and nick said he was too busy to start dating again. just fyi
omg i already new they were dating its on myspace they both have myspaces saying that there dating but it might just be fans pertending to be them [[?]] BUT OMG THEY DO LOOK SO CUTE TOGETHER

nick already denied it to Michael Yo. He said something to the effect that they are just good friends, so the media assumes they must be dating.
I wonder how Nick’s “so-called-best-friend” Maya Kibbel is feeling about this “relationship”?!
I think that the picture of Nick and Selena is just a picture of them hugging…Thats why Nick is kinda blurry (its because he was in the act of giving Selena her hug) -I cant believe how big of a deal people are making this photgraph! It’s just a little innocent hug =) People give eachother hugs everyday.
I doesn’t look like Selena to me.
