A Rumored High School Musical 4: The College Years
Well, the High School Musical 4 rumors are a-flying’! PopCrunch is reporting that Disney is toying with the idea of a HSM4 and they are willing to offer Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron a huge pay day if they will sign on reprising their roles on High School Musical 4: The College Years.
The National Enquirer is saying the the film would be about Gabriella and Troy attending different universities. They then start missing each other and reunite at their old High School, which would then trigger a ton of flashback scenes, keeping the budget for the movie low.
Um, I am thinking NO! That whole thing sounds iffy to me.
Any thoughts from you guys?

How about no! Trying to save money by adding old scenes in the movie? Uhmm. NO! If i want to see old scenes i’ll grab either one of my HSM Dvds, pop it in my DVD player, grab some popcorn, and watch it! I couldnt be more excited about HSM3 if i tried, but they shouldnt push HSM4 unless they have an amazing idea for it. I hope HSM3 lives up to the greatness of the first 2, and as far as HSM4 goes, if this article is true, im going to have to pass.

Really? My heart just skipped a beat until I heard there idea of what they call a plot! How lame is that? Old scenes from the past movies? Really? That sounds ridiculous…What I think they should do is make a tv series that shows the lives of Troy Gabriella and Ryan during there college years…and since Sharpay stays back as the drama assistant at East High, they should also show the events of her life following those of the three new HSM cast members at East High…and then maybe after one or two seasons…release High School Musical 4 as there high school summer reunion or something…
Now that sounds like a way better plot or show idea than reliving old scenes from the movies?…
It really disappoints me that they are willing to settle for a cheap buget HSM4 right after they make this huge High School Musical 3 film…do they realize that doing so is only going to kill the phenomenon? I mean, seriously…who’s gonna watch it after that! I pray to God Disney doesn’t screw this one up…

omg!!! it would be sooooo cool if they made a high school musical 4!!! but i like codys idea about making it a high school reunion instead of having flashbacks. but i am sooo for a high school musical 4!!! i own and love the first 2 and cannot wait for the 3rd!!!!

Let all hope Zac Efron (Troy Bulton) Acts in High School Musical 4. He is one of the main lead actors and without him the movie wouldn’t be worth the time and effort of making it.

Well we all know that kenny Orteger will have a great idea if they are going for it.
There has to be a least some of the original cast in it tho in order for people to be interested.

they are gonna make a 4th one but zac, vanessa, and the rest of the cast won’t be in it……It’s stupid b/c its not high school musical w/o them, it’s just of musical. that means the 4th probably won’t show them except maybe the beginning in a flashback or sumthing

I think High School Musical is a GREAT idea, but not past scenes from the past ones. Like do the name: High School Musical 4: The College Years, but like show the whole crew at their colleges, and in H.S.M. 3 it said Chad and Troy’s college had a big game against each others so you should do that too, do that game, and show Coach Bolton (Bart Johnson) at the game and coaching those two new guys on the team. Then it would be a BIG hit just like H.S.M. 3

HSM4? hello? HSM3 was a good way of ending HSM. adding HSM4, it’s not a good idea “HSM: college years” HS is very different from college. VERY, it wouldn’t sound good, HIGH SCHOOL musical: college years.

A verdade é que seria sim uma boa ideia High School Musical 4: The College Years.. Mais nao seria tao bom assim se tiver flashbacks, poderia sim ate ter, mais poucas coisas dos outros filmes, para fazer com que lembramos as emoçoes dos filmes anteriores.. No 4º filme, pode ser o reencontro dos amigos no East High, ou tambem pode contar a historia deles em Faculdades diferentes , e quem sabe um 5º High school musical, ai sim.. o reencontro dos amigos, mais se nao puder, no 4º pode ser tudo isso junto, o importante é que nao podem se quer pensar em tirar os atores de seus personagens, foram eles que deram personalidade para os personagens, eles sao o HISH SCHOOL MUSICAL ( Zac=Troy, Vanessa=Gabriela, Ashley= Sharpay, etc.. ) Colocando outros atores no lugar deles iram descaracterizar o verdadeiro HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, sao eles que fazem o filme, e nos emocionam com os seus talentos.. ninguem pode tomar o lugar deles, eles fazem a QUIMICA do HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.. E outra coisa hiper séria, se Vanessa Hudgens e Zac Efron e/ou outros personagens estiverem pedindo uma quantia alta, pensem em uma coisa, se vcs podem pagar paguem, pois eles fazem com que vcs recebam, nem digo em dobro, mais em triplo e etc.. porque HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL é um fenomeno mundial, e sao eles q fazem com q issu aconteça, é pelo talento deles, eles estao no filme certo e nao ha ninguem que possa substitui-los, E afinal, só pelo trabalho deles eles merecem o que quizerem, o q custa pagar a eles o quantia desejada, ou entao, entrem em um acordo, pois HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, sem Vanessa Husgens, Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, etc.. nao é HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, cada um tem seu papel fundamental no filme, nao tire-os de la.. vai ser uma sacanagem com nós os telespectadores..

i think it should be a hsm4 because they started when they were lil and should do it when they grown. it should be one about college years because zac,vanessa,ashely,corbin,momo and the whole east high should be in hsm4 and if they want to do a 5,6,7,8,9 there should done. but to end high school musical there should be a 4 college year and if yall think it shouldnt be a high school mucisal there thats a lie because they are all ways going to be a wild cat.

no. no, no, no!!!! you can not make a high school musical 4! i agree with everyone above! the first three are amazing and i loved how the third one ended! there is no way in heck that they can top that off! no way! i’ll admit, it probably would be cool to see them in their college years, but they are going to different colleges and I don’t see how the songs would fit in. in other words, DON’T MAKE A 4TH ONE! it would be way to much.
p.s is sharpay bipolar or something? at the beginning of every movie, she is just evil! but at the end, she is really nice and acts like she doesn’t wan troy. if you can answer this, please write a comment.

I think that it would be a good idea for a HSM4, but only if it will be as good as the first three!!!..but i also think that they should keep the new characters introduced, But i loved all the High School Musical’s!!!…. i just hope they don’t do the flash back idea!!!!!…that wouldn’t be very good!!!
