Alyson Stoner and Demi Lovato’s “Camp Rock” Wardrobe
I don’t know about you, but when I think of a camp wardrobe, I am thinking tee-shirts and shorts and I never bring my best clothes.
The wardrobe on the DCOM “Camp Rock” is a far cry from those summer tee-shirts and shorts. Some are calling it the “Camp Rock Effect“.
The “Camp Rock” camp is located in a woodsy place and looks like most summer get-aways, but these campers are all aspiring rock stars and the wardrobes are anything like most campers.
Alyson Stoner describes her character, Caitlyn’s wardrobe as “Madonna meets Hot Topic“. Alyson did enjoy the style and even thought about taking it home with her.
“Once I got it on, I thought I wanted to steal it all from Caitlyn, but then I’d get home and do a reality check,” said Alyson.
There was one character that didn’t have the flashy wardrobe, but was a little more real and that was Demi Lovato’s character Mitchie. Her character, unlike the others at Camp Rock, came from humble roots and so did her clothes. Demi described her style as “‘80s wannabe.”
If Demi was headed to camp for real, what might she bring?
“Now I’d pack 30 shirts and 30 shoes,” she says. “I’d need a separate suitcase for shoes and leggings.”
Demi is also a fan of hats, Ray-Ban sunglasses, crazy colored jeans and you would never catch her in sweats!
Okay, so the wardrobe in “Camp Rock” may be hard to relate to when it comes to camp style, but what about the makeup?
“Sometimes it didn’t look like we were wearing makeup at all - I liked that,” Demi says. “It looked natural. I didn’t want people to think, `Well, she goes to camp wearing a full face of makeup, so I will too.‘”
If you were headed to Camp Rock for the summer, what would be the most important clothing item you would bring, that you couldn’t live without?

i CANT live without my jonas brothers shirts! i have two from the concerts that i went to… and i bring both of them on every trip. and i always wear them! i <3 them!!! and probably my cell phone and ipod… i go to camp for 4 weeks and its hard not to use my cell phone because im always texting my friends… but we’re aloud to bring our ipods =] but i no cell phones and ipods arent clothes… hehe… OH! and also my CONVERSE! i have so many pairs…. i like NEED my converse! they are awesome shoes! hehe =] <3

i think there wardrobe is like they say way to dressy for camp! but it is also some awesome clothing if i got 2 choose to have those clothes i would most definetlly say yes because they might be 2 dressy for camp but they are cute clothes! plus they were worne by alyson and demi so why not!

does anyone know where i can get demi ’s outfit (the pink top and the jeans with the boots) shes wearing them when she singings this is me on piano the first time?
