Potential Writers Strike Already Affecting the Movie Biz
With June 30th, the end of the Screen Actor’s Guild contract, fast approaching, the movie industry is starting to get a little nervous. The potential of another strike is definitely possible.
Right now, no one is doing anything that finishes after June 30th and no one is starting anything right now.
Disney is doing what is can to wrap up filming on “Race to Witch Mountain” and “High School Musical 3” before the end of the month. They don’t want a potential strike to mess up their release dates.
Let’s hope things go smoothly and that they finish filming and also that there is not another strike. That last one was painful!
