Camp Rock 2 Auditions Update
The Film and Television Auditions blog has an update on the Camp Rock 2 auditions. He’s been told that auditions will start shortly after the release of “Camp Rock” on June 20th. Actual filming of the movie would not begin until early 2009. The Jonas Brothers will each share equal time in the sequel (some have complained that Joe Jonas got more air time) and also that the “Bonus Jonas“, their little brother Frankie, will make an appearance also! How cool is that?! That Frankie looks like he has an awesome personality. I would love to see him in a movie.
If you have questions about auditions, please check out the Film and Television blog first. There is a lot of good info there. I can’t answer your questions because I am not affiliated with Disney or the auditions in any way. I love getting your emails, but I can’t answer your questions. :D

Hey Julie, I was really wanting to know when the auditions for Camp Rock 2 and J.O.N.A.S is. I would also like to know when they are held and where. I haven’t done much acting, but everyone tells me that I should try out. So, I am taking everyone’s advice and trying to figure something out. I love the Jonas Brothers and I would love to meet them and even possibly work with them. I loved Camp Rock so I would rather be in Camp Rock 2 than J.O.N.A.S, but either would work. i am not julie but there is no deadline yet but i am haley i live in hawaiii were are u guys and there are auditions in ontario thats in canada and u can send a demo tape and a 8 by 11 pic of u u dont have to show ur whole body write me back u guys rock oh yeah the filming doesnt start till early in 2009 so u have alot of time write back if u care!!!

Hi! I’m Jayme, and I’m 14. I’m just starting out in the professional show business, but I’ve done tons of local plays, musicals and ballets. I love singing and dancing, and I would LOVE to be in CR2. If anyone has any info at all about what a demo tape needs on it, please please please let me know. My father is a,photographer so headshots aren’t hard to get, but what about the resume and tape reel? Any more info is desperately needed. I don’t hate the questions, I just don’t know the answers most of the time. :D
From the research I have done, I am pretty sure they want a demo reel and resume. If that’s what the audition info asked for, I would definitely send in everything they are looking for. They want to know you have acting talent and what you have done before, if anything.

Wow, lots of questions here and I don’t know the answers to most.
I am not sure what the age limit is. I will try to find out though.
As far as just sending in your voice, I think you would have a better shot if you were able to do a demo real which really shows your personality.
I don’t know if Disney would pay for your way. My guess would be no. :(
Breana - the address and person to send the info to did change. If you have already sent it to the previous address, that’s fine, but if you haven’t sent it in yet, send it to the new address. :)

I’m not Julie, but a demo reel is like an audition tape. You send in a tape sort showing maybe a monologue, a song, and saying a little bit about yourself and how you want to audition and stuff. A demo reel is no more than maybe 5 minutes long. Any longer than that and they usually reject you automatically. I hope that’s the answer you guys were looking for.

I don’t think you e-mail your demo reel. you have to send it through the mail. in your demo tape you have to record yourself, either singing, dancing, acting, or all three. I think it has to be really short, like five minutes.you can talk about yourself on your demo reel jessica.

a demo reel is showing off your acting, dancing or singing ability. It is a video of you - like breana said. :D
I don’t have any information on where the auditions are at this time. For now, just send in the requested items and information to the address listed.
As far as I know, these are not for lead roles, but for extras or a small part. I’m not positive though.

I want to be in Camp Rock 2!!! Is there a way to audition for it? I MUST KNOW!! I really want to be a famous actor, and I am 11 (turning 12 this December) and I am very talented so I would fit in great in Camp Rock 2. My parents say I am a good singer, and I Irish Dance and play the violin since I was 7 yrs. old. HA! I HAVE EVERYTHING FOR A LEAD ROLE IN CAMP ROCK!!! I’m 15 years old & Im very interesting in being a part of Camp Rock 2.
I’ve danced for 10 years & competed in dance for 7 years with many awards & have taken acrobatics & gymnastics classes since I was 3.

my friends and i would love to try out for some things, but we never had experience. the only things that is our experience is that we are in choir and sometimes we do solos. and where we live has no auditions. the only auditions is John Robert Powers (everyone says it is a scam- which it true, i think). please help!

- what if i am not from canada or US? i can speak english fluently.
- do i still have a chance if i’m not from canada or US?
-where do i send my audition tape and resume if i do not live in canada or US?
- what are the things that we should include in the resume?

Say we are new to the “acting world” and don’t have much acting experience. Is there any chance that they would give them the part or anything that involves the movie? Would they call us back if they look at our resume and it looks kind of blank? listen if u dont have experience ur not gonna get a part sry, get some training plus ur a little too younge they only excpet 12+ years olds it doesnt matter if dedicated u have to have experience and ppl just cause u like to sing doesnt mean ur good and just cause u love it doesnt mean ur good take singing and acting classes camp rock two isnt for u do to ur lack of experience and ur younge age

actually Ashleigh…..i am good at singing and acting and its a bonus that i like and love it….and miley cyrus auditioned 4 hannah montana when she wuz only 11…yeah thts right 11 not 12….so u shood really stop putting people down and trying 2 ruin their dreams….we can still audition & possibly make it…..am i rite
