The Disney Channel Advertises “Camp Rock” in Movie Theaters
The Disney Channel is testing out a different advertising method that has not been done before. From May 23rd to June 19th, theaters across America will have advertisements for the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Camp Rock’ on their screens.
This is the Disney Channel’s first attempt at cinema advertising.
The ad will run for 30 seconds on G and PG rated movies such as “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” and “Kung Fu Panda”.
They see this as prime advertising real estate and maximum exposure. They want HUGE numbers for Camp Rock and I think they’re going to get them. Has anyone seen these advertisements yet?

I saw the advertisement and I think its totally a smart move from Disney. Its summer and tons of kids are constantly going to movies and it should promote Camp Rock. Disney should keep this going because I think it reaches out to many kids they go home talk to thier parents. It will help promote alot.
