East High School Students a Little Annoyed with Filming of High School Musical 3
Having a hugely popular Disney movie like High School Musical 3: Senior Year isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Some East High School Students aren’t too thrilled about it because ever since filming started, they are worried about if they will have access to their lockers or parking.
“You have to hurry,” said 16-year-old sophomore Cydnie Garcia. “Or not get there at all. Sometimes I’m really lucky to get my stuff.”
Garcia also said that whatever HSM wants, HSM gets!
Seventeen-year-old junior Harrison Montgomery says, “Just seeing those stars makes me want to get angry. We get pushed back.”
Not everyone at East High is complaining though.
“I have no complaints whatsoever,” said junior Martin Trujillo. “The girls are hot.”
There has also been quite a few advantages for the school, like new curtains for the auditorium, and fresh coats of paint on the walls.
So what do the kids think about having big stars grace the hallways of their school? Some say they really don’t care.
“We’re treated as if we care that they’re here,” said 15 year old Malinda Fisher “Really, we don’t.”
Ah, but some students completely disagree with that statement.
“I disagree. Zac Efron is cute,” said 15-year-old freshman Taylor Martinez. “Everyone tries to act like it’s no big deal, or that it’s dumb. It’s not dumb.” Martinez will be an extra in the film for several days.
It’s very interesting to see the students different takes on their school being taken over by Hollywood isn’t it? I guess some of them are REALLY ready for summer!

wow,must be hard.True its HSM but the students need there school too.
Imagine you leave your homework in your locker and you can’t get it cuz of HSM then u tell your teacher
“i can’t get to my homework because Zac Efron is blocking my locker!”:D

True, very true Alana. That would be irritating. I wonder if they are given a little slack because of all the chaos.
