Camp Rock 2 Audition Info

Submission info is already available for the sequel to Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2! There’s no other information out about the movie and who will be cast in the starring roles, but it’s a good guess that the Jonas Brothers will return.

Pre-Production for Camp Rock 2 will likely get underway immediately following the release of Camp Rock on June 20.

Talent interested in submitting for Camp Rock 2 should send a color 8×10 photo, and preferably a demo tape, by mail, to the addresses listed over at Film and Television Auditions.

When does the movie actually start to film,and how old do you have to be to be in the movie.Because if it starts filming in 2009, I might be old enough to be in it (that is, if they only take teens).(But if a disney exectutive if reading this…I could be the short cute kid in the movie that pops up in random places!!!)haha, well I’ve gotta go, thanks for the oppertunity disney! bye :D

if you dont have a demo reel to send in then all you need to send in is a 8×10 picture and a resume.

hey! i have an idea for the Camp Rock2 movie!!!!!!
i was thinking that maybe there could be a new addition to the cast,maybe someone as…Jman’s sister or someone…who would be a voilinist and would be this quite,but sarcastic girl that comes to Camp Rock,n keeps meeting up with Nate(nicks Character)n they keep getting into fights,you know,always bantering n stuff…but then he hears her playing her voilin one evening n decides to join her on the piano,n then it’ll be all how they connect on a musical level,n they write a song together n how they get to know each other through their love n passion for music…n in the end,they write their own song(in which they both sing)n the song just has piano,voilin,n maybe a steady beat of the drums.n they play it infront of the audience,the way we see the cast perfrom “We Rock” performed in front of an audience,n then they get together. Wont that be great?!?!?!:D

this iss all a waste of time because u nevr email us back nd listen up evrybody u have to go through 4 rounds just to be in it. so forget it im done with this. if anybody wants to know its picture and resume first the singing then dancing and then acting so good luck to anybody whos doing it casue im not and they pick the song and dance for u and then u have to pick an acting scene which isnt fair. but thanks agian for the unfairest oppurtunity again. nevr hear from u again. ohh wait ur i dont neway.

hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t answered your questions. Unfortunetely I don’t know the answers to your questions. I am not affiliated with Disney or the auditions in any way.

My best advice to all of you would be to check out this blog: http://actinginfo.blogspot.com/

He has a lot of good information about auditions. he knows this business upside down and inside out. On the side bar, he has a ton of great information and it will answer some of your questions.

Here is some info from his blog about how the Disney Channel cast for movies and TV shows:

“The executives give the “green light” for movies and TV shows to be produced. Then the production company of the project hires casting directors, who in turn send out “breakdowns” of the characters being cast.

These “breakdowns” actually are sent out by a service called “Breakdown Services” and are only available to licensed Talent Agencies.

Then the agents at these agencies submit photos, resumes, and sometimes “demo-reels” to the casting directors. Then the casting directors call in the actors that fit the roles they are casting, usually many many actors are called in.

Then they narrow it down to the best actors who came in and “call back” these actors to read again for the director, sometimes the writer, producer, etc. Then they narrow it down further, and sometimes there are 3 - 4 “call backs” before an actor is finally hired.

Occasionally a casting director will call in an actor who sends a photo and resume on their own without an agent, however it is difficult for talent to find the addresses and casting directors. That is what this website is for. To help people get their photo and resume to the correct casting directors, and to find legit open casting calls.”

MaKayla - I am not positive what you would do in a demo tape. What i would do is an internet search for demo tape and resume examples. That should help. :)

3) How do you know you got a call back? Do they write to you or call you, because the info I got about the audition said nothing about leaving a phone number.
4) What’s a typical audition like? I’ve never auditioned for anything before, but I really want to do this!

Hey Haley! I don’t know how old u have to be, but send in ur info anyways. If u don’t get into CR2 then they’ll have ur pix and resume on file. They may need you for something else. You never know. I dance ballet, tap, and jazz/hip hop at Island Dance Academy down by Bay Front. I take classes everyday except Sundays and Mondays. I sent in my headshot and resume today. I’m sooo nervous. I want to be in CR2 sooo bad!!!

I’m an only child. I’m not in to sports like soccer and basketball, but I love figure skating and gymnastics. If there was a rink here, I would totally figure skate!
