PEOPLE Magazine – High School Musical 3 is Official!

Well, if PEOPLE says it’s official, then I guess it’s official – the High School Musical 2 cast is returning for High School Musical 3! Disney made the official announcement on Monday. And, the title of the movie is not Graduation Day like we have all previously been told, it’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year. I think I like that name better anyway, not that they asked my opinion, lol!
Here’s a list of the 6 returning cast members: Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel.
Kenny Ortega told PEOPLE that he is looking forward to working with the cast one last time. What? One last time? Oh bummer. I guess that means that the rumors of HSM4, which was talked about being a Halloween theme, won’t be happening either. Smart move. I think after number three we will all be ready for something different.
What does one of the cast members have to say about movie number 3?
"I’m excited," Tisdale tells PEOPLE. "But it’s going to be sad. It seems like it will be graduation and I’ll be crying while we’re filming."
And here’s the official plot according to Disney studios:
According to the studio, HSM 3: Senior Year finds high school seniors Troy [Efron] and Gabriella [Hudgens] facing the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcat crew, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.
Exciting news, very exciting news! Who’s excited huh? 
Here’s a interesting plot twist…..
It’s Hollywood, everything is possible.
For those of us who remeber “Saved by The Bell” the extended it to “The College Years”…..
They could easily make High School Musical 4 : The College Years……..
if or when it premires they should all come to Ireland
